Platon Residence Apartments — Hotel in Łódź

I lived in Building 24A, Apartment 63 for one year, and I would not recommend it for a long-term stay—perhaps only as a last-minute short-term option. I had to relocate quickly for work, and this was the first available apartment in a somewhat convenient location. However, the experience left much to be desired.

The interior materials are of noticeably poor quality. The walls and finishes are so fragile that even light contact can cause visible scrapes or peeling paint, and these damages are not tolerated by management—so don’t expect to get your security deposit back. The landlord provides no maintenance or refurbishment during your stay, regardless of wear and tear.

Upon moving in, there were no appliances such as a TV or Wi-Fi—you’re expected to arrange everything yourself. Students should especially take note: not only is the environment poorly suited for studying due to constant noise, but you’re also required to pay a steep notarization fee before even securing the lease.

Noise insulation is practically non-existent. You can hear every movement and conversation from adjacent units, and the acoustics amplify hallway noise. There’s a noticeable gap in the door frame through which corridor lights shine directly into the apartment, even at night. If you’re a mature resident or simply value peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. Despite having the apartment professionally cleaned the day before move-out, I was charged an 500 PLN (attached below )cleaning fee for things like scuff marks from normal furniture use and dust behind the washing machine. Pokoje ładne, zadbane, pachnie nowością. Okolice trochę nieciekawe ale jest kod do budynku i osiedla, więc nic nie powinno się dziać. 2km do Atlas Areny i około 1.5km do Piotrkowskiej. Obsłudze dałam 3 gwiazdki, ponieważ nie dostałam nigdzie żadnych informacji co do wejścia do pokoju i budynku już nawet w dniu rozpoczęcia noclegu. Bookowałam na Booking i miałam nadzieję, że będzie jakaś recepcja skoro żadnych informacji. Później rozmawiałam z panią będąc pod budynkiem i powiedziała, że na wiadomościach powinnam to dostać tylko że tam nie było żadnych wiadomości 😅 Chyba, że miałam dopiero dostać te informacje kiedy pokój byłby wolny bo byliśmy trochę wcześniej niż zaznaczyłam ale pani jednak pytała mnie o ten numer pokoju. Spotkaliśmy miłą sprzątaczkę i ona wpuściła nas do pokoju od razu jak posprzątała, a informacje z kodem do budynku i pokoju, wifi itd dostałam kilka minut później dopiero na...

Pokoje są malutkie, ale nie ciasne i klaustrofobiczne. Duże okno, daje dużo światła, ale ciemne zasłony dobrze izolują w nocy. Kwatera jest kompaktowa, skromnie ale dobrze wyposażona w niezbędne sprzęty (2 kieliszki, kubki, talerze, jest korkociąg, patelnia). Jest nawet pralka, suszarka, żelazko i deska do prasowania. Kosmetyki i ręczniki są na wyposażeniu. Lokalizacja jest znakomita, blisko hali targowej, niedaleko Piotrkowskiej 😉 Jedyny minus to czasem w nocy (sobotniej) hałasy dobiegające z ulicy, bo na wprost jest hostel i knajpa. Pomieszczenia są czyste, dobrze utrzymane, cały budynek nowy i zadbany oraz bezpieczny. Dostęp jest łatwy, dzięki domofonom i kodom. Polecam na prywatne i służbowe...
