We have been staying here once or twice a year since 2012 and we love this hotel. The employees at reception, restaurant and housekeeping are all super polite, kind and helpful.
The hotel is going through a major renovation with some rooms already upgraded to a superb standard. Some rooms are still awaiting renovation and are a bit tired and dated but it time all rooms with be modern and up to date.
The restaurant went through a major revamp as well and is now serving modern polish cuisine and a lot of love goes into their food and presentation. They recently also opened an outdoor sitting area in the courtyard and it’s very well decorated with lights and modern furniture.
The menu is also available for room service delivery.
The hotel also has a small gym a full bar and is located right in the city centre. 10mik walk from the station and 10min walk to the main town square.
We have our habitats room that we love to stay at which has not yet been renovated. We don’t mind that at all as the room has 2 balconies.
The only suggestion I would have for the hotel is to equip the balconies with a simple plastic table and 2 chairs. That would make a big difference for a guest who wants to spend some summer evening at the balcony with a contail people watching.
The only downfall at the hotel that is a big one is the tiny ironing room.
Correct you do not get irons or desks delivered to your room. They have very small room where only a desk fits and you sideways. You can’t even turn around really. There is also no window nor ventilation or AC.
After ironing 2 shirts and 2 trousers I returned to the room so sweaty that my T-shirt and shirts looked like I just came out of heavy rain. Everything was dripping so I had to completely change.
Maybe it is not common for their guests to need an iron but those that do should receive a better experience considering this is a 4 star hotel and also a great and lovely one.
Couple simple improvements would make all the difference and a much more impressive and comfortable stay for a guest
Regardless of those couple imperfections. This is still the best hotel to stay at in Gliwice and also with the best location in the city
Highly recommend and this has been the only place for us to stay at since 2012 and it will continue to be the only...
Read moreThe room and the bathroom were very good – clean, tidy, and the bed was comfortable. However, a very unpleasant incident occurred upon arrival. The electricity in my room was not working, so I contacted the reception. They sent a technician, who spent quite a long time trying to fix the issue, but without success. Then the receptionist came with another card, but the electricity still didn’t come back. Only after about an hour was I given a different room. As I arrived at 11 PM and was already very tired, that lost hour meant an hour of lost sleep. The new room I was given faced the street, and despite the receptionist assuring me it would be quiet, it was very noisy outside – intoxicated people were shouting and making noise. I had to close the window in order to...
Read moreI booked a room for myself and my colleagues. Booking number: 4890787540.Upon checking in, I found the window left open despite the rain and snow outside, turning the room into an ice-cold space. Even after turning on the radiator, the freezing draft from the window made it impossible to warm up the room. The window itself was ice-cold, intensifying the chill. Additionally, there is no sound insulation whatsoever—it feels as though the windows are purely decorative rather than serving any functional purpose.
Apart from that, the room was very dusty. If you have allergies like I do, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
The towels are dirty, photos attached. The white towel has...
