Faro Town House — Hotel in Faro

Wonderful experience. We recently returned from spending 3 nights here. I travelled with my adult son. The host Gabriele was so welcoming and really made our experience unforgettable. ||The breakfasts were a selection of cheeses, mixed fruits, different breads and coffees teas etc. the roof top terrace a lovely place to enjoy wine and get away from the hustle and bustle of the streets below. ||One day we went to Olhão which has glorious beaches and traditional town about 10 minute train ride from Faro. Faro town house is a gem in the lovely city of Faro. Marcus and Gabriele are amazing hosts and they went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The town house is beautiful and the rooms are lovely, clean, and super comfy. The common kitchen is great for making conversation and it gives the chance to eat at home if you want. And having three available patios to eat outside in the lovely Portuguese weather is way more than a plus. Das Town House liegt etwas versteckt in den engen Gassen der Altstadt von Faro. Ein Parken vor dem Haus ist nicht möglich, jedoch findet man in unmittelbarer Nähe immer einen Parkplatz. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist für all diejenigen erstklassig, die Faro fussläufig erkunden wollen. Wenn wir richtig mitgezählt haben, dann gibt es im Faro Town House fünf Zimmer, welche geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail in unterschiedlichen Farben eingerichtet sind. Wir waren im 'gelben Zimmer' untergebracht. Sowohl der Schlaf- als auch der Sanitärbereich war supersauber. Das Bett war mit einer sehr guten Matratze ausgerüstet, sodass der Erholung im Schlaf nichts entgegenstand. Die vorhandene Klimaanlage tat ihr Übriges dazu bei.||||Die Unterkunft verfügt ferner über mehrere kleine Dachterrassen, welche man über die Küche erreicht. Die Küche ist u. E. das Herzstück der Unterkunft. Sie ist offen gestaltet, umfasst einen Bereich für Gäste und einen für die Gastgeber (Gabrielle & Markus) und dient, wenn man mag, als echte Begegnungsstätte. Hier stehen den Gästen ferner viele frische, teils aus eigenem Anbau bzw. eigener Herstellung stammende Lebensmittel zum Verzehr (inkl.
