This was our first hotel in Lisbon and it was terrible. This hotel has only one room with a window and we did not get it. It is simply impossible to stay and sleep in this room, it is dark, very damp, small. There is no window in the room, no fresh air and no natural light at all. Because of this, it is very damp and the bed linen is damp. To get into the shower, you need to climb into the corner of the cabin and try to open the door - this is almost impossible. The sink is right in the room. Much of this is not indicated in the description of the room. I can not say that it meets expectations and even more so the price does not match the quality. If you want to relax and gain strength, this is definitely not the place for you. We could not stay there for one night, and rented a hotel down the street with windows, air conditioning, a larger area, cheaper and much more comfortable. Read the description very carefully and do not succumb to the charm of the rating...

The room was extremely small, with the bathroom sink placed right beside the bed and almost no space to move around. I had requested early check-in, but the staff was not present, and I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to arrive. The A/C didn’t work for a night during warm weather, which made it very difficult to sleep. Staff also do not answer calls after hours, even in case of emergencies. The building is very old and giving a dirty impression.
The only positive was the location, right in front of a...
Read moreThe staff, and particularly Fatima were the most hospitable that we encountered in our month long trip in Spain and Portugal. Willing to chat at any time and provide helpful tips. They strive to make this place your home away from home and we lo ed it here! Very clean and quiet room and each day upon returning we had a little sweet treat on our bed. Our final treat was a lovely carafe of port wine! I cant reco.mend this place highly enough! Metro stop across the street and in less than 10 minutes you are in the heart of Baixa Chiado and all the action!|Thanks Fatima...I hope...
