A Hidden South Indian Gem in Lisbon! 🌟

Just visited Taste of Madras, a new restaurant in Lisbon, and I’m already planning my next trip back! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in.

I ordered the Chicken 65 and Egg Kothu Roti, and both dishes were absolutely phenomenal. Everything — including the parotta — was made from scratch (not frozen unlike many Indian restaurants in Lisbon), and you could taste the authenticity in every bite. The Chicken 65 especially was a standout — perfectly spiced, crispy, and took me straight back to Madras. It genuinely felt like a bite of home.

India has such a rich and diverse culinary tradition, and it’s amazing to see a place (finally!) that showcases authentic South Indian (Tamil Nadu-style) cuisine so well. If you’re curious about South Indian food or just looking for something truly flavorful and different in Lisbon, this spot is a must-visit.

If you're looking for an amazing food experience, look no further than Feast of Madras! We tried their pratha, dosa, and rosa milk, and each dish was an absolute delight.

The pratha was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with the right balance of flavor. It paired wonderfully with the chutneys and curries on the side. The dosa was light, crispy, and packed with flavor — definitely one of the best we've had! And let's not forget the rosa milk—it was creamy, refreshing, and the perfect way to end the meal.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We truly had a wonderful dining experience and can't wait to return to try more of their menu!
