Home Out — Hotel in Lisbon

We just spent 5 nights in Apartment 4d Room 11. First impressions good, all facilities were spotless and the room was a good size. Shared kitchen had good quality appliances and crockery and cutlery and pans and utensils. Space allocated in the large fridge for us which was good. There was a separate utility room with a washing machine and drying rack.The living room was comfortable but did get cold.||No hairdryer was available at all when I enquired, so as that’s something most women need I suggest the owners think about addressing this. Also you have to pay €3 each for replacement towels.||The three bathrooms are all together at one end and they were spotless. ||Unfortunately we did suffer because although we were right next door to a bathroom it did mean that we were woken by others using it during the night. Added to that is the problem of the lights! The bedroom doors have an opaque glass panel at the top, so each time the hallway lights were activated by movement sensors our room was lit up. Not what you want when you’re trying to sleep! The what ole apartment complex is very poorly sound proofed, so you hear everything- voices in the kitchen, bathroom noises, footsteps in the hallway, footsteps from the floor above etc. So all that was unfortunate but on the other hand we felt it was good value for money in terms of facilities...

This is a delayed review for a September stay for 2 rooms (different floors, different occupant number).

The rooms and general area are clean. Instructions are very clear on where everything is, how to seek help, and even some restaurant recommendations on the chalkboard. Joao was our contact and helped with check in process, booking airport to accommodation transportation, and a lot of questions from our elderly travellers in the group (Thank you!!!)

The location is not central to tourist area, which actually is a good thing. It is already on the airport subway line which makes it actually easy to commute from where we stayed to Alfama. Away from tourist area also means it is not overly busy or noisy as well. It felt very safe to walk around in the area even late at night.

I would not hesitate to return for stay the next time I visit...

Wow! Totally amazed! The money was totally worth it, I didn't actually have a chance to meet the staff but comunication with them was amazing, they always wanted to help and they reacted really quickly! Our room was without windows wchich sucked sometimes but we were informed about that before. There si a board with important info about Lisabon and interesting places mentiones, that was really nice! Cleaning lady every day. There were many bathrooms i didn't wait even a second when i had to go there, there was always some of those free. Kitchen is well equiped and self-check-in was without any problem! There is a small supermarket right across the street and large one 10 minutes walking. Red line of metro right in front of the building, which conects the accomondation and airport...
