We booked a room for three people. My husband and his son autistic son. They opened a sofa bed downstairs, the stairs went round a corner so it was difficult for him to go upstairs. We had the upstairs bedroom. It was difficult to find a parking space when we arrived, we drove around the old town twice, then eventually we parked the car maybe in space we weren't supposed to. We walked back through the city about 20 minutes to the hotel. We were greeted politely, but we were so tired we dropped our bags and found somewhere to eat. The room was very clean, not a spec of dust. The main downside to the room is the bathroom is on the ground floor. Going downstairs in the middle of the night wasn't fun. Even though it was two floors for three people, the downstairs bed is next to the bathroom with no privacy to use the bathroom. The hotel is reasonably priced, I wouldn't say it was central, but we did find places to eat. We stayed here twice arriving and leaving Lisbon. Breakfast consisted of pastries, bread rolls, fresh fruit, cereal and a mixture of juices with a hot water and coffee machine to have hot drinks. It was okay, the first time we had breakfast on a balcony inside. It is too small for the amount of people staying there. The next time it was downstairs in the reception area. There is outside seating if it is a warm/hot morning otherwise it is cold. Not sure if I would stay here again overall 4 ⭐ given, for cleanliness and the friend staff.

Lovely, efficient and well thought space, service and amenities. As someone new to traveling abroad who also has to eat GF and rarely emerges from parenting and work life, I was immensely pleased to find ample gluten-free options at this hotel’s generous continental style breakfast spread with kind and thorough staff insuring I had ample options to eat. The rooms themselves are contemporary, eco chic and comfortable and the courtyard is charming with sounds of birds chirping and the occasional rum of the streetcar traveling nearby. It is difficult to find the front entry the first time as it is located down a smaller traditional alley that most vehicles cannot traverse but a very easy downhill walk from an intersection where am Uber or taxi can drop you off. Lovely all around and well-worth the upfront confusion of finding the entry. A special shout-out to Tanya and her colleagues in the dining space for her generosity, preparation, communication and thoughtfulness! Thank you!

Beatiful and clean hotel in Lisbon Alfama district. This is walkable to many attractions, close to dining, groceries, tram, uber/bolt stops. Uber/bolt will not be able to drop off in front of the hotel but private transport service and taxi with access to the narrow street will be able to drop off/pick up in front of the hotel. Reception people are friendly and accommodating. We arrived earlier than check-in time and our room was ready. Contact them prior to arrival and if possible, they will accommodate your request to check earlier when the room is available. Bed are comfortable and smells fresh upon arrival. There’s a fridge, coffee pot, instant coffee/tea and water. The view in our room was a plus. There’s breakfast for additional fee which I did not include in this stay. I will choose this hotel again when i visit Lisbon. Highly recommended.

It was difficult to get to the hotel as the taxi could not find it, he left us on a street and told us it was around the corner, it wasn't but not the hotels fault though it is hard to get to by car. First the bad- the doors to the rooms are very narrow and large luggage needs to go in sideways. When we tried to get into the room the sofa bed was open so there was no way to get in. We closed the bed, and the sofa cushions were not very comfortable. To our surprise the bathroom is on the first floor and the bedroom on the second, making it difficult in the middle of the night to traverse the winding stairs without turning on the lights. Another negative was the window from the bedroom overlooking the staircase, so if you had the light on for the staircase or even the downstairs it illuminated the bedroom. We left our luggage downstairs as the staircase was a winding one and it would of be difficult to manage. Now the good, the bed was very comfortable, and the A/C worked great (a bit too good as we turned off the fan as it was blowing directly on you in bed or on the sofa). The bathroom was nicely laid out and the water pressure was great. The internet worked without issues (only strange thing was it was only for your room- you had to log into a different network outside of your room). The hotel is in a great location for seeing the city and not a far walk to the main sights. We were there May 31st so the June festival for St. Anthony was starting and the neighborhood for the hotel was all decorated. Many of the families had temporary restaurants in the street with great food and drink at reasonable prices. There was even live...

The front desk staff at this hotel are completely uninterested in ensuring guest satisfaction. The main issue is the barrier gate on the street where the hotel is located. When we arrived with a rental car, we couldn't access the hotel to unload our luggage. Parking or even stopping on these narrow streets in the city center is impossible, and there was no understanding or support from the hotel staff. We faced a similar situation upon departure. We called a taxi and asked the staff to open the gate so the taxi could come closer for us to load our suitcases. The front desk staff showed no understanding once again, and simply said no. My husband, who had a cold, had to carry heavy suitcases up the street to the taxi. We were told that the gate would only be opened if we had booked the taxi through the front desk. This is absolutely terrible service.

Additionally, the sound insulation in the hotel is poor. While there is no noise from the street, we could hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms, especially the cleaning staff vacuuming early in the morning.

The breakfast is good but small.

We found a piece of chewing gum stuck to one of the clean towels.

For the price we paid, the service is subpar. The only positive aspect is the hotel's location...
