Insano Gelato e Pizza — Restaurant in Lisbon

I didnt snap a picture of my gelato because it was gone before then. All of the gelato are homemade and naturally flavored which was one of my favorite parts; I got a scoop of pistachio and hazelnut, my boyfriend’s dad got two scoops of pistachio, his mom got two scoops of 70% chocolate, and my boyfriend got a chocolate brownie after all of them had a prosciutto pizza and a four cheese pizza. Though I personally didn’t try the pizza due to allergy restrictions, they looked/smelled great and they both came out at the same time. My gelato satiated my craving, and the best part about being here was meeting Claudio who served us. Claudio had the recipes, good stories and tips for whomever enters the shop, while Marisa has the smile and kindness to host all the customers. :) What a lovely couple!!y We have been around the world and love to try our ice cream: we can testify these guys know what they are doing! Don't be fooled by the simple appearance of the place, because several celebrities, even Madonna and the French prime minister with his entourage came by while in Portugal to enjoy the unique flavors. This review is purely for their pizza. Husband and I ordered their Marguerita and Pepperoni pizzas. While the presentation was nice, the underside of the pizza was not cooked all the way through, was SUPER thin, and was doughy. The taste was alright, but it was a bit nauseating knowing that i was eating what tasted like undercooked dough. We wouldn't come back.

Response to owner: you must have me confused with another customer! We did NOT finish the entirety of the pizzas, and left several slices between us. If we had in fact finished the pizzas, did it cross your mind that maybe we would have done so because we were… I don’t know, hungry?
