This authentic Portuguese restaurant in Lisbon offers an unparalleled dining experience that truly makes you feel like a welcomed guest in a family home. From the enthusiastic greeting at the door to the personalized menu recommendations, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure your meal is exceptional. The cozy, lively atmosphere, complete with a resident cat peeking from the balcony, adds to the charm.
The food is simply outstanding, with numerous reviewers raving about the grilled octopus, shrimp, and sardines, and we were really ordered all of them and got a truly memorable meal.
The little Korean girl was serving good but she is really busy. A tiny restaurant is expected to sit close but with great atmosphere.
While the restaurant doesn’t accept booking, we went there before 6pm during Monday and could get a table more easily. However, we saw a queue of around 10 tables when leaving.
Overall, while the restaurant is cash-only and can get quite crowded, the overall experience is well worth it. With generous portions, reasonable prices, and an unparalleled sense of hospitality, this hidden gem is a must-visit for any food lover in Lisbon. We will surely come back as wrote...
Read moreFood is really nice, been there 3 times, although I have a feeling that the portions got smaller. However, the staff is the worst I have ever experienced - we wanted to sit outside, out of 6 tables only 2 were occupied. The male waiter told us that we cannot sit outside, cause it is gonna rain. The weather forecast didn’t show any rain and the sky was clear so we said that it probably won’t rain and even if it will, we don’t mind. Still, he didn’t agree for us and another couple to sit outside. Hence, there was a long line of people and FREE TABLES, that we couldn’t take. Then we waited 25 minutes for someone inside to finish. The waiter seemed rude, was mumbling that „it is gonna rain, he knows it”. It was so annoying. Obviously it didn’t rain at all. Overall, I think not worth it. There is a big hype, I mean food is okay, but the staff is super slow, and says „ohh I’m so sorry hihi” all the time, blaming it always on rush hours. Nevertheless, they are super slow and clumsy, which left us...
Read moreToday was our third time in a row at Lisbon Tu e Eu — that alone really says it all. The long line you often see in front of the door, I believe, is mostly because people prefer to sit outside. However, I would always recommend getting a seat inside near the kitchen. The view into the kitchen creates a wonderful atmosphere, and at the same time, you might strike up a conversation with your neighbors — just like we did — and meet great people.
But the real highlight at Lisbon Tu e Eu is the food. The seafood is incredibly fresh, and everything is prepared to perfection. We’ve tried almost the entire menu. We can especially recommend the tiger prawns and the octopus. And you should definitely order the sangria to go with it.
A perfect evening also includes great service — and we had exactly that. Nia, who works at the restaurant, was super attentive and incredibly kind. More restaurants could use a team member like her. Anyone visiting Lisbon simply has to come to...
