Lisbon RiverView Hostel — Hotel in Lisbon

We stayed for three nights in the hostel and we had a very nice time. The rooms are simple but you got every thing you need. The shared kitchen is well equipped and clean. On our floor (5th floor) there were two bathrooms one with a shower one with a bathtub.||We are both smokers and asked the staff if it was okay to smoke on the small balcony in our room. They allowed it and you can enjoy a very nice view of the city. However there are also rooms on the 3rd floor so if you have any luggage you should ask for them because there is no elevator.||The staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt very much at home there.||At night it was silent and we were happy about not having fellow travelers having partys while we tried to sleep.||The only bad thing to mention is that there was a small draft coming from the doors to the balcony. The hostel is in located in a typical lisbon building and like every building here it was old so it is to be accpected. They tried to block the draft and if spring would have arrived it little bit sooner this year it would not have been a problem.||All in all, we plan to...

The hostel is located in the city center, not far from the river, the big shopping street rua augusta and the next metro stop baixa-chiado - a very nice location. We stayed there for 4 nights.||They only have two or three-bedrooms,no big dorms. There are two bathrooms and one kitchen for 5 rooms. The stuff was very friendly and always around to help or answer questions. The rooms were very clean as well as the kitchen and the bathrooms. They also propose hairdryers and fans and towels. Breakfast is not included. If you’re coming from Faro- check the transportation to Lisbon. The buses are not frequent and I end up taking the 0030 bus to Faro, reaching around 0430 in the morning. ||Luckily I contacted the hostel beforehand- via whatsapp, and the lady at the hostel agreed to let me in upon arrival. Very understanding people. ||The room is in great condition with SUPERB view. The toilets are fairly clean. Location wise- perfect. Very near to the Square (meaning very touristy too) I walked to Alfama, took me around 20 mins.||My room was on the 5th floor and there was no elevator- luckily I only had a bag pack to carry.
