When asked to pay, we were told to enter the restaurant despite having luggage. They dismissively pointed to security cameras, showing little concern for our belongings. The server pressured us for a tip and made racist remarks when we declined, calling us "Chinese" (though one of us is Korean) and claiming we "never give tips."

Inappropriate Behavior: When we complained about the racist comment, our concerns were ignored. The server incorrectly lectured us about tipping culture in Canada, disregarding that tipping is optional in Europe and should be based on service quality.

We were looking for a traditional Portuguese restaurant for our final meal before flying home. The waiter in the street was low key not overbearing like some. I looked at the menu and liked what I saw so I got my husband and he agreed so we sat inside which was lovely. There is a great feel to this place. There were two menus we were told, same choices as the a la cart. One has smaller portions and is cheaper. I went for a small portion of porco alentejana and sangria, while my partner chose paella valenciana and vino tino. Our meals arrived in a very timely manner. I have never had such a delicious meal of pork and clams anywhere in Portugal. It was so full of flavour and clams! 11 in total. The pork was tender and I can’t stress how tasty it was. Me and my partner recently had the Arroz de Polvo at Cataplana LX Restaurant, and it was simply exceptional! The octopus was tender, perfectly cooked, and infused with rich, bold flavors that were both comforting and indulgent. The rice was seasoned to perfection, soaking up all the delicious broth. You can really tell the chef puts care into every detail of this dish.

A special shoutout to Chanda, who provided exceptional service throughout our visit. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. She surprised us with a complimentary tequila shot, which was such a fun and thoughtful gesture. It really added to the lively atmosphere and made our visit even more enjoyable.
