Luckily the guy (Magnu) who took my order for crepes and gelato was really nice but the manager is an outright RACIST! He CLEARLY hates Muslims! After my order I had to do my prayer so did it QUIETLY in a corner seat where no customers can really see, he came by murmuring stuff in Portugese and made those mouth/sound gestures. After I was done and waiting for my order we looked eye to eye and he motioned basically “get out” with his hand/ finger at least 2x. If I hadn’t already ordered, I would’ve left, and he definitely would have lost one sale for the day. I decided to sit outside and eat while enjoying people watching. Afterward I went in to pay and also to speak with him “to apologize if my praying bothered him”. He had look of disgust and was avoiding me and pretending to be busy but as I was as leaving he’s murmuring something again with an ugly gesture on his face! I just said “it’s not good to have so much hate in your...

I just had to go to another restaurant and get another dinner because we were still hungry since chicken was the most meat on...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences I’ve had in Lisbon. Total scam. We ordered coffees and cake and the total should have been around €16. Instead, they charged us €22.80 with a mysterious “table service fee.” And no receipt. When I went inside to ask, the staff behind the counter told me this fee was not mandatory and usually around 10–15%. Nobody explained it to us in advance, nobody asked if we agreed, they just added it to the bill. Dishonest, rude, and unprofessional. Avoid this place – there are plenty of better cafés in Lisbon where you won’t be...
