Lena's Home — Hotel in Ponta Delgada

Disappointing! My flights from London to Azores have been cancelled due to Covid19 and there were actually no flights from any company, at the time I was supposed to have my holiday. This is an out of the ordinary situation and everyone else I had booked accommodation with was very understanding and offered a full refund, except for Lena. It was not a personal decision to cancel the booking and I really think this is not a situation to take advantage of, but quite the opposite. Anyway, it seems that certain people and certain companies, such as Lena and Booking.com do not agree with me and saw the pandemic as a way to make easy money. Comfortable and well located place. The hostel is located 10 minutes walking from the city center, the area is quiet and just behind the building there is a Big Parking Lot in case you decide to rent a car. As a place, it is very clean, and has some facilities (Kitchen, fridge, washing machine). The rooms are big enough as well as the beds, bed tables, wardrobe and some rooms have a balcony. The host will leave some clean towels and don't get surprised if you find new ones after a long day outside and coming back, there is a cleaning service and they will get inside the room from time to time to change towels and get the...

A very bad place! Lena ist not a very friendly person and when you stay there you have unbelievible much noise: From the others in the house, from the street, a lot of cars, from a bar or disco... The terrace also is terrible, with view to a car place... The "kitchen" ist a room in the cellar and it is really not nice to eat at the small table. In the bath there ist no place for the things you need or for the towels. Look to my picture, this small windows show you dirty walls... And the "best", you can not cancel...
