Location is the best thing about this hotel. The rooms were clean and well appointed but the bed is hard as a rock. Spent 4 days o Porto and barely slept as plywood wood have been more comfortable.
As with many centrally located hotels noise is always an issue. However, as the compressors for the air conditioning units are above the 4th floor units, be prepared to hear the units ALL night long.
A great feature of the unit is that it has a kitchenette, which would be handy if you want to eat in. However, with hundreds of restaurants nearby, don't know why you'd want to cook at home.
Unfortunately, as you'll see from the images, the quality of the fit out is appalling. The laminate is peeling off the timber, there's no toilet paper holder and the shower head is so clogged, having a decent shower is questionable.
Also, beware, if you're the first one to have a shower, beware you may scald yourself. The water is dangerously hot.

Read moreIf you like sleeping on concrete and taking ice cold showers this is the place for you! I have to say, staff was amazing and accommodating by letting us store our luggage while our room was being cleaned as we were early for check in. There’s a lot of great things about this apartment such as the kitchenette and appliances. However, the bed is rock hard and the hot water doesn’t last more than 5 minutes… this was disappointing after a rainy and cold day in Porto. There is lots to see in the area but the location is rough, as it is right beside the train station, so it can be loud. If I were to book again I would go to a hotel as it feels uneasy being in a rougher location and staff here is not always available, except limited hours during the day. If anyone is planning on sleeping in the living room, the door is glass with no...
Read moreI wouldn't even recommend it to a homeless person to stay, at least from what we stayed and saw. The room was made entirely of plasterboard and in general probably the whole structure because from the upstairs those who walked, our own walls creaked, as well as those who entered the entrance. The bedrooms are too small, so you can't even leave your luggage somewhere to open it. The bathrooms were windowless and too small, probably for dwarfs. The whole room smelled extremely musty which is unsanitary and was extremely dirty. The staff who manage it are quite polite and welcoming. We complained and they changed us and took us somewhere else which...
