Very fresh and delicious food and so kind !! We were hungry and visited late at night. The outdoor tables at the entrance and the second floor were full of customers, so we waited while drinking port wine first, and as soon as the food we ordered came out, it was fresh and delicious from the first bite, so we ate it so quickly that we missed the time to take pictures. The owner and the staff were really kind. Even the area around Sao Bento Station was under construction, so it didn't seem easy to find the hotel we had reserved, so we asked for directions, and the staff took us to the hotel themselves. I was very touched and grateful. I will visit again during the remaining two days of my trip to Porto. The food was very fresh and delicious, and the staff was very kind. We visited this restaurant based on a recommendation, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. During dessert, we were offered a tray with various options. We chose the chocolate mousse, and as soon as we started eating, we realized it was spoiled and visibly moldy.

We immediately informed the staff, who removed the dish and replaced it, but at no point did we receive an apology for being served a product in such condition, which could pose a health risk. At the end of the meal, we ordered coffee, and there was also no gesture of goodwill (such as offering the coffee free of charge) to acknowledge what had happened.

It is very concerning that neither the staff nor the restaurant management showed any interest in recognizing the mistake or in compensating in any way for such a serious issue. This complete lack of empathy and professional responsibility left us with a very negative impression.

Honestly, we felt that because we are foreigners, we were not given the attention we deserved as customers.

For all these reasons, I cannot recommend this establishment.

Fomos a este restaurante por recomendação e, infelizmente, a nossa experiência foi muito decepcionante. Durante a sobremesa, trouxeram-nos uma bandeja com várias opções. Escolhemos o mousse de chocolate e, ao começar a comer, percebemos que estava estragado e apresentava mofo visível.

Informámos imediatamente a equipa, que retirou o prato e o substituiu, mas em nenhum momento recebemos um pedido de desculpas por terem servido um produto nestas condições, que poderiam representar um risco para a saúde. No final da refeição, pedimos cafés e também não nos foi oferecido nenhum gesto de cortesia (como não cobrar os cafés) pelo ocorrido.

É muito preocupante que nem o serviço nem a gerência do restaurante tenham demonstrado interesse em reconhecer o erro ou em compensar de alguma forma uma situação tão grave. Esta total falta de empatia e responsabilidade profissional deixou-nos uma impressão muito negativa.

Sinceramente, ficámos com a sensação de que, por sermos estrangeiros, não nos deram a atenção que merecíamos como clientes.

Por tudo isso, não posso recomendar este estabelecimento.
