Randomly chosen at the first place and than discovering the best Nata's of the city. On our first day in Porto it was raining cats and dogs and since the café was protected in the outside area and equipped with umbrella heater, we chose it. We started the day with a breakfast table that had everything from a salty omelette to fresh natural yoghurt with fruits to a sweet croissant with jam. The coffee was heady and the orange juice freshly pressed. The Natas are fresh from the oven and have the perfect combination of hard, falling puff pastry and creamy vanilla pudding filling. You may also buy up to 6 Natas in a handy folding box for take away for only 6.00 Euros total or 1.10 Euros, if you eat them in the cafe. The waiter was attentive, friendly and courteous and gave us a Nata as a "compensation" for the bad weather. "The world needs Nata" and especially the ones of the café Nata Lisboa. Highly recommendable!
Sehr...
Read moreToday's visit to "Natas Lisboa" was nothing short of a charming surprise. My girlfriend and I initially had our hearts set on a simple cappuccino and black coffee. However, our attention was effortlessly stolen by the barista's artful presentation of two stunning beverages, which they served to a nearby table. Intrigued by their visual appeal, we knew we had to indulge.
The barista was attentive and inquired about our preferences, going the extra mile to craft a vegan version of the drink for me, as I'm unable to consume milk. The drinks we received were nothing short of fabulous â a delightful treat to our taste buds.
Not only were the drinks exceptional in flavor, but the prices were also pleasantly reasonable. Coupled with the friendly and exceedingly professional service, "Natas Lisboa" has quickly become an essential stop on our itinerary whenever we find ourselves in Porto. We eagerly anticipate our next visit to this...
Read moreExtremely slow and poor service from staff... we sat down and after waiting we went up to the counter to order and was told that someone will come to serve us. 15mins later and flagging numerous times someone eventually came to clean up the table from previous guests and took our order. After 30mins of ordering and enquiring how long food will take microwave heated quiche, mini pies and a pastel de nata arrived which had been sitting in their display counter. We were still waiting for sandwiches, salad and meze board. One of our party had to eventually leave to get their train after 40mins of waiting, so we advised the staff we have to cancel their toast with jam because they had to go. Staff only did so when they saw them leave and still bought along a cancelled drink. The place appears bustling but it's from slow service, there were 5 people working there so we're baffled as to why they're so slow. It was a terrible...
