Brusco Burger: A Missed Opportunity in Porto's Culinary Scene
Brusco Burger, located on the second floor of the Time Out Market in Porto, has garnered attention for its promises of delectable burgers. However, recent customer feedback suggests that the establishment has not lived up to its expectations.
Many patrons have reported that the burgers are overcooked, leading to dry, flavorless meat that lacks the juicy texture one would hope for in a quality burger. The lack of flavor and proper texture extends beyond the patty; the cheese and bread, crucial components of a great burger, also contribute to the overall mediocrity of the meal.
In addition to the disappointing food quality, there are concerns about hygiene practices at Brusco Burger. Observations of staff mishandling equipment, such as dropping the fryer’s lid on the floor and then placing it back on the fryer without proper cleaning, raise questions about the establishment’s commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
For those planning to enjoy a meal in Porto, Brusco Burger may not be the best choice. The subpar food quality and questionable hygiene practices suggest that there are better dining options in the vibrant city.
In a city known for its rich culinary offerings, Brusco Burger unfortunately stands out for the wrong reasons. It seems to be a missed opportunity to enjoy a great meal in Porto, with potential patrons better served exploring other local eateries that truly celebrate the flavors and traditions...
Read moreHave a seat, the story is very interesting. I arrived in a great mood at this place, hungry, ordered a burger in “Brusco Burger”, got a number, sat down next to the café, and waited for my number to be called. After half an hour, I went to check with the administrator about my order. He pointed to a burger that, apparently, had been sitting there for a long time waiting for me. The appetizingly melted cheese was calling me to eat it, but it turned out that it was, so to speak, frozen on the burger. I politely asked to heat the burger, as it turned out that the button didn’t work and the burger and I missed each other. They refused my request, said I was wrong, and didn’t believe me. But then, after checking my button in front of me, they realized that the button indeed didn’t work. The administrator went somewhere, and I was left waiting at the table for a resolution. Burgers were spinning in my eyes. Another half hour later, I realized that no one was planning to solve my issue, no one apologized, and they didn’t refund my money. After an hour of waiting, I had to leave because I was too weak from hunger to make a scene. I used my remaining strength to crawl to the nearby train station to satisfy my hunger with a Pastel (thanks to their excellent service). The sandwich gave me strength, and I decided to make...
Read moreThe veggie burger lacks of texture makes the experience quiet disappointing. Also I dislike seeing veggie options more expensive than the meat options. You choose to use « behond meat » veggie patties.. not my favorite one. as for this price you could be tempted to make them yourself ? I personally think that a industrial veggie patty should not be found in a time out market but that’s just my opinion. The fries were very similar to Mc Donald fries, and the 50cts extra cost for additional sauce were very small servings. The service was fast and the staff was nice. Grateful to see a veggie option thought. The top floor lack of atmosphere as the concrete walls have no decoration on them. Security staff saw that we were waiting in front of the toilet for nothing ( as the door code was not working ) which was nice...
