New Oporto Apartments - Cardosas — Hotel in Porto

We arrived to this lovely and well equipped apartment at an amazing location in Porto, smack-dab in the center near Sao Bento station. |But all the great physical attributes took shade in the presence of Ana. ||First she made contact the day we arrived with info and offer to provide transportation in the guise of the kind Alberto. At 23 Euros it was well worthwhile. We met Ana who gave us the rundown of the gorgeous apartment, offering many suggestions and had booked us a table at a wonderful restaurant nearby to which she even escorted us. ||But a host can best be judged when there is an emergency. At 11 PM we discovered that somewhere along the line a small bag with my grandson's medications had been lost. I contacted Ana by text and she immediately got to work calling the police at the airport who are seemingly in charge of lost and found as well as the airline had it fallen out there. She supported me half the night discussing how the meds could be replaced and contacted her pharmacist who outlined what could be done. ||We could enjoy our next and only day in Porto as we knew Ana was in charge and taking matters in hand, in contact with the airplane cleaning dept. police and pharmacy.||This kind of care and concern cannot be measured. She even came personally to meet us and take us to the pharmacy. ||I am at a loss to fully express my gratitude. She is a godsend and for us the face of Portugal !! These apartments are perfectly located. You could not ask for a better location as you exit Sao Bento station they are within metres just behind the first main block of buildings. The standard of fixtures & fittings are exceptional. Furnishing is delightful. Plenty of storage, a safe and all household amenities are at your disposables such as pans, cutlery, coffee machine etc. Just like at home. I loved the breakfast bar. A lot of money has obviously been spent in renovating the apartments to this standard. We would stay here again...

This felt like the perfect place to stay in Porto. The location was fantastic - easy to walk anywhere. We had a rental car so we really appreciated having a very nice parking garage right at the entrance. Note if you decide to use the garage - buy day passes from the nice gentleman working in there to get the 23 Euro/day rate and they only take cash. The apartment itself was great, it was exactly as pictured and just beautiful. We were very comfortable there. Checking in with Ana was a breeze and she was very helpful...
