The apartment building is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but there are many restaurants and a large supermarket nearby. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go, but the metro station is just within 5min away, which is good if you have lugguages and need to go to the train station. We had an apartment on the first floor, very spacious, newly renovated to style, clean and well equipped. Wifi working very well. The kitchenette comes with stoves, dish washer, fridge, oven, etc. There's also a washing machine which has been such a great help to us. The owner / staff (Teresa) were very accommodating, friendly and attentive. When I asked about the washing machine, they returned with washing powder and a rack for our laundry. They also stocked our fridge with food (breakfast included in room rate), actually more than enough for us. We stayed 5 nights, and the bread basket and fruit tray were always full. It is also very clean and the towels were soft and white as snow. The shower cubicle large, and most importantly the pressure very strong.||||The down side is that the heating was not strong enough, especially on the first night. We come from a much warmer climate so maybe it was not entirely their problem. The sea gulls could be quite loud in the morning but they didn't affect our sleep, depends if you're a light sleeper.||||As a reminder, make sure you have your key before going out. We left our key in the lock one morning and they had to get a technician to open the door, and it cost EUR60. It's actually written on the notice (on the door), so I guess we were not the only ones who had such experience?! The point is, I think EUR60 is too expensive.||||Overall experience has been great, even with the above episode, I would certainly recommend this place to anyone who looks for a cosy place other...

It has a minimalist touch! Everything was spotless clean! The only noise that you really hear is from the seagulls. It really depends on your sleeping habits as this may disturb some. The apartment is equipped with food (breakfast is included - yogurt, bread, cheese, ham, fruits, juice, milk, coffee and cereal). Please be advised that they require payment in cash upon arrival! This is something that we were not made aware of but luckily had enough to pay. Teresa met with us to get the keys and give us a very useful map with notes on what to see. She was very pleasant. There is an elevator on the premise which is to be used for luggage. This was a plus! This apartment is one block from Madame Gertrudes, which is a quaint little restaurant in which I highly recommend! Tell Carlos his Miami friends sent the...
Read moreWe stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights while we were in Porto. The apartment had a nice modern design, and it was well furnished. It had 2 twin beds and 1 sofa bed. It also had a kitchen, shower heater, and air conditioning. The apartment is located near restaurants and cafes, but if you’re walking to the city center, it’s still a good 15-20 mins walk uphill. However, some things could still be improved in the apartment. It would be nice if it had cabinets with hangers where we can hang clothes. The shower door also leaks, when you take a shower the water leaks out to the bathroom floor. There is also no place to hang your clothes when you take a shower. So it’s quite inconvenient when you have to cross all the way to the sink from the shower to get your clothes. The shampoo/ bath gel they provided was also just a quarter full, so maybe it came across as being stingy? Idk.
All in all, it’s an okay apartment and some things could still be improved to make the stay...
