The rooms were not equipped with the facilities on Booking.com and their HP, and when contacted, there was no response, and on top of that, they insulted and discriminated against Asians in front of us. The reception was unmanned, and although there was a telephone number on it, there was no response even during reception hours. The information on the website is false.|No air conditioning (it is provided, but there is no remote control, so it cannot be used), no hairdryer, only one bath towel, no face towel or bath mat. There is a kettle but no cups or glasses.|The rooms are sparse and quite plain. The bathroom smelled badly of sewage and the door did not close, so the smell came into the room. It was a hot day in Bucharest and as I was on the top floor, it was still hot at night and I could not sleep without air conditioning.|The above equipment was not available, so we called during reception hours, but he said he would be there in 10 minutes, but after 30 minutes I did not hear from him, and when I called again, he ignored our calls first. I called the other number, which also said he would call back in a minute and never did. When I called the first number again, he finally answered and said he was off today and couldn't go. I told him I would speak to the owner, but something about his English became suspicious and I couldn't get through (or maybe he just pretended not to understand).|Well he finally came in the morning, but no apology. He also insulted me, saying that Asians can't work with their brains, etc. Extremely offensive. Read moreVery bad experience, i checkin late at night 9:40pm.. there’s no way to find reception until she arrives 20mins after. Reception is only until 10pm. Went to my room then straight to shower, suddenly realized there’s no towels and im soaking wet. I’d tried to call the hotel number from the website, the guy answered telling me they cannot send towel because there’s no workers anymore. They can only send the next day. I couldnt be bothered, it seems like the room was not cleaned. Pantry and fridge are empty. The worst part was when i checked out they charged me everything that is missing in the fridge. I explained that i never touch anything. That guy Gabriel in the reception is liar. He is dishonest!!!. I explained everything what happened and i thought we were ok already. But he stabbed me in the back, he charged my colleague for what I supposedly took from the fridge. This was the worst nightmare accusing me of something i didn’t do and let other people charged. I left the country already when they secretly charged my colleague who then still in the hotel. I would fly back to that hotel and take it back what they owe. It is not about the money that he charged me but my principle and dignity. He backstab me and accused me of something i didn’t do. Never again to this hotel. Read moreThis is a very clean hotel with spacious rooms. ||||The whole hotel is beautifully decorated with an amazing attention to detail. The hotel was a famous and historical mansion house which has recently been totally modernised so the rooms are like brand new.||||The hotel is fairly small but does not feel like a B&B and the whole area is absolutely spotless throughout the hotel. ||||The beds are so comfortable and the bath gowns are of the most luxurious and high quality you will find in virtually any hotel. ||||The breakfasts are delicious and the hot food is cooked to order.||||This hotel is situated in a quiet location in the centre of Bucharest so it is in easy walking distance of the tourist attractions and restaurants etc.||||The main reason this is such an amazing hotel is the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to ensure that their guests have the best experience possible.
