La Cena — Restaurant in Bucharest

After call and checking about carbonara, I visited on a Saturday afternoon. Apparently, in addition to Italian style, they also have a Romanian-style cream carbonara which is not on the menu, and I ordered it. The service was polite from start to finish even I couldn't speak Romanian, and I did not have an experience that would lead to a low rating as other people have said. The price was not cheap (though not expensive), so I couldn't afford to tip, but there was no smell of cigarettes and I felt at ease with the interior design similar to Japanese style. The Sea food pasta had no taste. It was like eating water.

For dessert I ordered Tiramisu, they took 10 min to bring it to my tablet.

Honestly the worst Tiramisu ever, I understand why they took so long time.

They just prepared right there, the cookies were hard and dry.

Disgusting, I just gave it a bite.

When I was there, there were only two more clients bisides of me.

Nevertheless they took 5 min to bring me the check since the moment I ask it.

My surprise: They bring me the check without bill.

I have been living in Bucharest for 1 month, and this has been the worst place.

a lil gem of a restaurant in the center, but behind all the fuss of the busy main street. both their terrace and the dining in location are spatious, well organised. the serving was quick, but we did go there at abt 3pm when it s usually not crowded anywhere. they have some vegan options which are delicious- mushroom or tomato soup, bruschetta, rice, potatoes, grilled veggies. a good variety of pizza, pasta, grilled meats or seafood, and of course a couple of cheesy deserts. my absolute guilty pleasure for...
