I am traumatised for life! Hotel management DO NOT take fire safety seriously. Stayed at this hotel in October 2023 and now in November 2023. Oct I found both the fire exits blocked (see photos). Spoke with reception and informed my booking agent. Another hotel guest opened my room with his key card one morning as I was ironing my clothes. I was half naked. He was shocked and I was shocked. Spoke with the receptionist and she told me she doesn't know how this happened and changed my room key. Nov The fire alarm started on floor 5. I quickly went down the stairs via the fire exits. The fire exit door on ground floor was locked so I carried on down the stairs. Ended up in the basement where there are no exits! Thinking there's a real fire, I started to panic, I might be trapped there and burnt alive. Eventually, I went up the stairs one floor via a door which was opened, down the stairs, through a toilet and found the reception. The man at the reception told me there's no fire, that they are doing some work on the pipes so it's a false alarm. I went to my room shaking and crying. Even after the fire disaster in a nightclub a few years ago in Bucharest, property owners have not learnt that they HAVE TO take things like this seriously and make their buildings safe. I really hope they listen this time, because the hotel itself is good, rooms are very clean.

We'd stayed at the Lenoardo hotel in Vienna, so it was easy to make this choice on our visit to Bucharest. We arrived the city pretty early and we were able to check in as early as 6am, of course by paying about €96. We'd had a long journey, so we offered to pay this price for a good sleep. The hotel was kind enough to let us have breakfast on the day we checked in even though we weren't supposed to. We enjoyed the breakfast, although the spread was limited. The croissants were refilled and were piping hot, which was great for the weather. I didn't like that the milk was dispensing directly from the carton, which made it less than warm. Twas a manageable breakfast to get us started for the day nonetheless. The room was okay. We got a view of the road that led to the centre. Connection to other parts of the city was great as well. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so it was easy to grab one to get around. We dropped our bags in the storage and picked it up late at night when we were ready to leave. Nice service overall, and i recommend.

They try so hard to appear as a business hotel but at the end of the day I’ve stayed in motel 6’s that are better than this hotel. When I first arrived the door frame came apart in my room, when I called front desk they sent someone to fix it and his reply was “that happens all the time”. The walls are paper thin, I can hear the person next door snoring every night. The AC only blows hot air and when asked about why that was the answer was that the hotel wasn’t designed to be a hotel in the beginning and that while it has an AC/heat system that it only operates as a fan. The desk clerks have been amazing but the bartender was rude as hell. The only positive about the hotel is the location. I stayed here two weeks and it was just terrible. Overall, I would not recommend.

This hotel should really be so much better.|It is in a good location within the city centre, being an easy walk from the hotel to the main attractions. It is also close to the metro and bus services. |The rooms are decent for a short stay, bathrooms could be a bit better, but there is nothing that is going to cause you issues. |However, its customer service is simply poor.|We arrived later at night. we did e mail the hotel beforehand to inform them, and they replied that we could check in at any time and they would look forward to seeing us at our check-in time.|When we got there we were informed that they were running a Computer upgrade and could not check us in, now if this had been a short delay fair enough but no 2 hours later which by now was the early hours of the morning we were still waiting.|They stated they knew we were due to check in but could not do it manually. |The whole thing was a joke.|We were informed that the manager would contact us in the morning to offer us compensation for what the receptionist admitted was poor service. |We are still waiting for the manager or anyone to contact us.|We did twice attend at reception to ask to speak to the manger, but on both occasions, we're told she was not available, and no one was authorised to deal with our situation. |Simple put Rotten Customer Service. |So be warned this is a hotel chain I would never recommend and beware if something goes wrong they will do...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Our experience was exceptional. Upon arrival, the hotel graciously accommodated our request for another room further removed from the loud music playing from the rooftop party across the street (we were exhausted from traveling and desired to rest). The front desk personnel was kind and helpful. Our positive experience continued the following morning when we arrived for breakfast in the lobby. The assortment was a lovely mix of traditional and ‘American’ style cuisine. The buffet changed slightly each morning and we appreciated the variety during our stay. The staff’s service was exquisite; the manager was constantly working to ensure that the food was plentiful. Tables were cleared efficiently and all waitstaff were pleasant (this was especially impressive as some guests were INCREDIBLY demanding of the staff and our first breakfast was busy with many people.) Housekeeping was equally attentive. Our request for an iron and extra towels were promptly honored.

The location of this hotel is perfect - you’re close to the center of everything without being stuck in the more ‘touristy‘ parts of the city. Thank you for a beautiful experience. We will...
