Casa Sibianului — Hotel in Sibiu

I stayed here with my son and a friend for about three nights in summer 2016. We found the owner and especially his wife to be very surly and unfriendly. Their manner was cold and unsmiling. I think this had a lot to do with the fact that my son is black. The room was searched immediately after we vacated it. Refuse that I disposed of in an outside bin was quickly removed with a mutter and ill grace. I was not issued with a receipt immediately after paying in full in cash at the beginning. No reason was given other than the owner was not in. Every time we entered, we were met with one of the owners glaring at us, not saying a word. We felt uncomfortable and unwelcome during our stay. As I say, I can only put this down to the colour of my son's skin. I can think of no other reason because we were always polite to them. The young lady who spoke English was pleasant but not the owners.

Reading the other reviews, they seem to be pleasant to most other people. I suggest that they reevaluate their attitudes that belong to...

Sincera sa fiu, daca sunteti in cautare de o cazare aproape de centrul vechi, nu aveti unde sa va cazati sau cautati doar un loc unde sa dormiti...este foarte ok...nu am cautat lux, nici camere imense...doar un loc unde sa dormim o noapte...camera a fost curata, aerisita, bine intretinuta, baia la fel de curata...zona este linistita, poti dormi fara probleme, saltelele confortabile...apa calda, dar domnul ne a spus de la inceput sa lasam putin apa sa curga pana se incalzeste(aprox 2 min) deci nimic de speriat...gazdele la inceput putin sceptice, pt ca nu stiu de fiecare data peste ce oameni dau, dar apoi foarte primitoare...niste oameni linistiti, calmi...exact cum sunt ardelenii oameni calzi si buni, dar dupa ce te cunosc putin...😏dimineata chiar am stat putin la povesti in curtea pensiunii...care din nou mi a placut ca era foarte curata...oamenii chiar daca sunt in varsta sunt foarte harnici, adevarati gospodari.... apropo, au si parcare, noi nu am stiut si am lasat masina pe la gara, ca acolo am gasit parcare cu plata...🤣 pot spune ca o sa revin...

Worst place ever. Wouldn't stay there.

We've just stopped to get out of the car and the driver continued.

The lady was screaming, taking pictures of the car, swearing and not even letting us to say bye.

With those circumstances I wouldn't ever stay there. Such a rude behavior on the street, I wonder how they treat...
