Hotel "Kristall" — Hotel in Kazan

I made a 2-day reservation on sep 19, 2017 for June 25-27, 2018 during the world cup for 6200 rubles total through expedia and made a separate reservation for one additional night on sep 27, 2017 for June 24 through hotels.com for 3100 rubles. I was supposed to pay at the check-in, but they asked me to pay yesterday, May 30 an inflated price of 21,300 rubles for the expedia reservation and 7100 rubles for the hotels.com reservation for one night. When I booked this hotel 9 months ago, there were many hotels available for comparable prices, but now there is basically nothing left because of the world cup. And they know I have no choice but to pay the marked up price. I called the expedia. They called the hotel and told them that what they did is wrong and original agreed price was 6200 rubles for. 2nights, not 21,300 rubles. But, they said there was a mistake in their computer when I booked the hotel, the price should’ve been 21300 (close to $400 by the exchange rate in september). by some miracle, a room became available yesterday at a 4 star hotel for $87 a night. So, I cancelled the reservation with crystal hotel and sent them email telling them that i would write a review and report them to fifa for price gouging. Guess what, they wrote back this morning immediately saying they experienced a mistake in their computer yesterday, they would like to restore my reservation for the original price of 6200 rubles. I immediately knew they were doing this in preparation for my review and expted me to say know. since i cancelled the reservation, they presumed i found an alternative acomdation already. so, they expected I would say no and then they will mention this in their response to my review. who would say yes after going through yesterdays unpleasant experience? no one, right? BUt, I said yes. Because I knew they were playing games to protect themselves. I just played along to see how far will they go. THey did not go very far at all. They sent me the same inflated new price this afternoon. what they didn’t know is I would accept offer even if they reduced the price from 6200 to 3200. I simply hate to spend a penny on dishonest businesses. THank God, i had to deal with this problem now. imagine you arrive at the hotel in city that there is no hotel room left anywhere and your hotel ask you to pay 350% of the original reservation price. «Мы за 2 тысячи километров в Казань ехали, а тут такое!..»: родители юных футболистов, которые отравились в гостинице «Кристалл», в шоке от организации турнира

Массовое отравление детей произошло вчера в казанской гостинице «Кристалл», где поселили юных футболистов, приехавших на турнир с разных уголков России. По официальным данным, пострадал 31 ребенок. Но, как рассказали «ВК» родители заболевших футболистов, на самом деле с отравлением слегли не меньше 50 школьников. «Все номера и коридоры были заблеваны, в жизни такого не видели!» - ужасаются родители, которые всю ночь откачивали детей. По факту в СУ СКР по РТ возбудили уголовное дело, расследование проводит и Управление Роспотребнадзора по РТ.

Напомним, печальные события в гостинице «Кристалл», где живут 6 - 10-летние участники турнира KAZAN CUP (проходит с 31 октября по 4 ноября) с тренерами и родителями, начали развиваться вчера ближе к вечеру. У многих детей, а их в гостинице живет более 100, начались боли в животе, рвота, поднялась температура.

Тем же вечером в гостинице побывали и взяли пробы для эпидемиологического расследования специалисты Управления Роспотребнадзора по РТ. А в СУ СКР по РТ сегодня утром возбудили по факту уголовное дело по статье «Оказание услуг, не отвечающих требованиям безопасности». По данным следствия, пострадал 31 ребенок, шестерых госпитализировали.

Побывав сегодня утром в гостинице, корреспондент «ВК» встретила в холле родителей, которые рассказали, что официальная статистика далека от реальной.

В час ночи было плохо 44 детям, один мальчик даже сознание потерял, когда шел к туалету. Девять мальчишек увезли на скорой. Сегодня утром стало плохо еще шестерым из разных команд, - рассказала «ВК» мама футболиста из питерского ФК «Ижорец» Кристина Ляльцева.

По словам женщины, из команды «выпало» 8 игроков из 15, всем по 7 лет.

Неладное мы заподозрили еще 30 октября, когда только заехали. В холле гостиницы были дети из другой команды, которая приехала раньше нас, и вдруг они начали выбегать на улицу и их там по-страшному рвало на крыльцо. Администрация гостиницы нам тогда не ответила, что происходит, - говорит Кристина. - Все эти дни наши дети питались в ресторане при гостинице. И вот вчера после обеда, прямо во время турнира у нас вырвало одного ребенка, потом рвота началась еще у нескольких, в том числе и у моего сына. Всех больных мы поселили отдельно, ночью дежурили у их кроватей, чтобы, не дай бог, никто не захлебнулся рвотой. Я думаю, что дело в гостиничном питании - дети питались здесь, а мы в другом месте. Если бы это был ротавирус, взрослые бы тоже слегли.

В коридорах гостиницы сегодня стоял характерный запах рвоты, а на ковролине в коридорах были большие затертые пятна.

Здесь все было заблевано, я в жизни такого не видел! Некоторые дети не могли добежать до номера, и их рвало прямо здесь, в коридоре. И номера все были заблеванные, лужи были невероятного размера, страшно смотреть. А уборщица, которую мы попросили убраться, сказала, что бесплатно такое убирать не будет, - рассказал о ночных злоключениях муж Кристины Сергей.

Тут полнейшая антисанитария была с первого дня: на одного ребенка выдали только одно полотенце, туалеты у них не мыли, как ни придем к детям в номер - все грязное, - добавила мама другого питерского футболиста Светлана Родинова.

Сейчас приехавшие на турнир в Казань жители Санкт-Петербурга намерены добиться от организаторов KAZAN CUP (Республиканская футбольная лига и Академия ФК «Рубин») возврата денег, а позже потребовать возмещения...
