Very pleasant and beautifully deciratwd place. Even when it is full, it doesn't seem criwded. Very nice views and comfortable outdoors. One of my faborite places gor a coffee after work eith one of my close friends. I like the flowers inside and outside. Very quiet in the morning. Pleasant international music in the afternoon. No live mysic, as far as I know, but the chouce if songs is very diversified. Good for groups or for individual vusits. Excellent nacchiato. Very good choice of coffee, tea and lemonade with different flavors. Coffee is served with white or brown sugar. Cappuccino and macchuato are good examples of coffee art. I recommend the one with rose syrup. Cakes are very tasty. Chocolate ice cream is very delucious. Vanilla ice cream as well. Moderate prices. For example, Greek salad coats 290 dinars. An explosion of Mediterranean colors and flavors, a mix of vitamines and good energy. I have seen people having good breakfasts here (mostly English breakfast), eating salads, pasta, meat, fish or risotto for lunch, drinking beer or wine, or if you prefer healthy options, a sqeezed orange or grapefruit are also great choices. At the Square of Flowers, thete are two parts of the same cafe and restaurant. In one, you can smoke, in the other you cannot. You can quietly work on your computer, talk to your friends and have privacy. I would call it a romantic place. Friendly staff. I heard them speaking English. This place is popular for tourists or for native Belgraders. You can pay in cash or with card. In the non-smoking area of the cafe, there is only one toilet, with no separate restrooms for men and women. It is usually extremelly clean, but I don't know what happened today, when I found drops of urine on the floor and it smelled like sweat. This is the only reason why I didn't give it the maximum number of stars. I will...
Read moreIf you're looking for a spot with a great location, this place is definitely worth checking out. The atmosphere is inviting and the interior is nicely designed, creating a cozy and comfortable ambiance. During my visit, I had a cup of tea which was of good quality and very enjoyable.
However, when it came to food, I ordered the Bruschetta with prosciutto, and although it was decent, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The portion size was small and it wasn't baked enough for my liking. However, the waitress was super friendly and provided great service, which definitely made up for the average dish.
In my opinion, this place is ideal for a relaxing drink or two, but not necessarily for food. I do believe that other dishes on the menu may be better prepared, so I wouldn't entirely dismiss this spot for dining. With that being said, I would rate my experience at 3.5 stars.
Overall, if you're in the area and need a spot to unwind, this place could be a decent option. Just keep in mind that it may not be the best...
Read moreI have visited this restaurant with my colleagues. The food was tasty, but I tried only risotto and beer :-). Some of my colleagues had higher expectations and probably would rate food lower but the majority of us liked that very much. However, the service we got was so amazing. Thanks for that to the waiter Meda. He made our evening really funny and cozy. As we were a very international team with colleagues from Mexico, Argentina, India, Europe, the Middle East, etc. he was considering different cultures and spoke a few words in different languages. At the end of the dinner, he was sitting with us splitting the bill for each of us (which is not often in Serbia). For such great service, we were happy to give...
