Hotel Mediteraneo — Hotel in City of Novi Sad

This is merely a Bed and Breakfast and not a 3 star hotel, because of no restaurant (except for breakfast). Upon request I was told that there would be somebody at the reception day and night. The room-door had a physical key as opposed to an electronic key-card. The mattress was worn and uncomfortable. The bathroom was barely 3 m2 with no space for personal toiletries. Almost everything became wet during shower, including the toilet seat. For that reason the hair-dryer was located in the room itself. The photos on the website seem to be photoshopped. |Breakfast was basic with very few choices. . I had breakfast between 08:10 and 08:45 and I was the only guest having breakfast during that time. I liked the location, central, but not on the main street. The staff was kind. The place looks like refurbished warehouse. Neighbors openly did not like us parking at the courtyard. I did not like the room at all: completely unappealing, basic furniture, unpleasant smell, glass decoration at the entrance door, so the room was lit from the corridor the whole night. Noise from the parking courtyard started at 6am (no sleeping). The breakfast was also a problem, not just being at a nearby pub (not exactly an atmosphere to start the day), but we could not have it before 8am. The hotel's location is great & right in the center. It is close to most the city attractions and in walking distance.||The size of the rooms are good and comfortable. Good facilities. The staff a very friendly, courteous and very helpful.||We did have an issue with our car in the parking provided due to another guest staying at the hotel, however, the hotel staff was very helpful and ensured any charges would be taken care of by them.||The breakfast was good and you order from the standard different types of eggs, cornflakes or sweet breakfast.||Overall...
