More than the room and the hotel's location, what truly impressed us was the receptionist. We had made a reservation for the hotel while driving from Croatia to Novi Sad. The gentleman on the other end of the line immediately informed us about ongoing roadworks in the city and assured us that he would send us a location map.
As we approached the city, night fell, and the rain started pouring, creating ideal conditions for navigating through closed roads. We decided to give the gentleman a call, and he graciously guided us over the phone for a solid 20 minutes. He knew the ins and outs of the city, directing us on which turns to take, which streets were one-way, and where it was safe to make maneuvers. When we finally arrived at the hotel, he was waiting for us at the parking spot he had reserved, still on the line to ensure we reached our destination without any hiccups.
Unfortunately, I do not recall the gentleman's name, as this experience took place over a year ago. However, his name was no longer significant compared to the exceptional service he provided. Despite any minor imperfections like slightly worn-out furniture or a less-than-perfect breakfast, these details paled in comparison to the outstanding assistance we received from this hotel staff member.
In the end, our stay at this hotel will be remembered not for its lavish amenities or perfect location but for the extraordinary service delivered by one exceptional team member. Such employees are a rarity and a true asset to any establishment. We hope the hotel recognizes the value of this incredible receptionist and continues to cherish and support such valuable staff members.
Thank you for an unforgettable experience that highlighted the importance of exceptional people...
Read moreWhat a fantastic experience! This small hotel is a perfect base; home-from-home if you will. We stayed from the 28th July to the 11 August - peak summer-break season in Novi Sad - for a very affordable rate. Zenit is situated on a very quiet street, and no more than 50 meters from the main boulevard where all the attractions are. It is super close to shops, pubs and restaurants - yet sheltered from the noisy crowds. The rooms have A/C and are simple, but very clean. Breakfast is meze-style; fresh, tasty and light enough to get you ready for a day of exploring. The coffee is top notch, and there is an endless supply of ice-cold water (trust me - you'll need it!). The staff were available 24 hours a day, were super friendly, and have an impressive knowledge of the area. I'd highly recommend the stay, and the 3 star rating is definitely an understatement. I'd go back in...
Read moreWe were here for one night together with friends and we got the last two rooms in the hotel. Position is excellent, staff ok, free parking excellent, good breakfast. The only lightly negative comment is to our room No 3, the last twin room in the first floor. The room itself is small but nice, there are 2 other problems there: 1) there is no air-condition there, external unit near window is used for another place 2) the small window which is there is directed to night club entry. This club started to run after midnight so we hear music, speech of people, noise of bottles which were tossed into dust bin etc. So either you sleep in the room with closed windows or you will be disturbed by this. So be aware of this if you get offer for the...
