The worst service in my life! 22.10.2024 (18:00-20:30) Me and my family celebrated my wife's birthday, and we went to 'Masha'.
About the service: Our waiter looked very tired and didn’t smile at all. He was very serious, with rough and clumsy movements. It seemed like he came to work after a very hard party! He brought the wrong cocktails 4 times and didn’t bring the pizza we ordered (keeping a big order in mind is smart and cool, right?) In between his work tasks, he sat at a neighboring table eating pasta. Too bad the guests didn’t let him enjoy his meal fully :( But that wasn’t the scariest part...
I ordered lemonade, but it was filled up only 2/3 because there were only 3 small ice cubes. We asked the waiter to bring more ice, and he got angry. He took my glass, walked to the bar corner, took ice with his hands from the ice box, and put it in my glass... then brought it back. We asked him to change the lemonade because we saw this crime, and he got even angrier. This situation blew my mind, it's horrible... he didn't even try to hide his angry, tired and depressive mood.
The table had dirty dishes, but it was fine because it meant we had minimum communication with the waiter.
About the food: The food was good. We ordered a big plate of meat, and almost everything was tasty except for the shashlik, which was too dry.
I didn't like the Caprese salad because the mozzarella was dry, and when I ate the salad with arugula, something crunched on my teeth, but I don't know, maybe that's how it's supposed to be.
The bread in the basket and kaymak as usually very tasty! I think food is good option for this price. Price/quality is acceptable.
Summary: I've been to this place twice. The first time was fine; the waiter tried to share good vibes and did his job properly. But yesterday's visit was disgusting! Novi Sad has too many places to give this café another chance - I will never come back.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Maša, and I must say, the experience left me more than satisfied. Right from the outset, the warm and inviting ambiance set a positive tone for what turned out to be a delightful culinary journey.
The menu showcased a versatile array of dishes, each sounding as tempting as the next. I opted for cevape, and the choice was nothing short of exquisite. The flavors were well-balanced, and the freshness of the ingredients shone through with every bite. It was evident that quality was a priority here.
A noteworthy aspect of my dining experience was the generous portion size. It was indeed a hearty meal that didn't just satiate my taste buds but also my appetite. And yet, despite the ample serving, the presentation was visually appealing, a testament to the chef's finesse.
What really elevated the experience was the prompt service. The staff was attentive, ensuring that the food arrived hot and without a lengthy wait. Their swift service did not come at the cost of courtesy or professionalism, which was maintained throughout...
Read moreI am truly sorry to give Maša a lower rating, but I do so in the hope of encouraging this restaurant to return to its former quality.
In previous years, this restaurant was my top recommendation for breakfast or lunch in the city center, particularly in its lovely garden. However, my last visit was quite disappointing. We brought guests from abroad to Maša, thinking it would be a reliable choice.
We waited a long time for our food, and just when we thought it was finally arriving, the waiter informed us that he had forgotten one dish, so we had to reorder it. When everything finally came, the forgotten dish was warm, while my portion was almost completely cold. Additionally, everything had an unusual sweet taste, and the rest of the group was not as enthusiastic about the food as we had been during our previous visits to Maša.
I believe the challenges facing the hospitality industry are also impacting this restaurant, and I sincerely hope they can overcome these issues soon so that the old Maša, which we wholeheartedly...
