Slnečný dom — Hotel in Vysoké Tatry

I'm writing review for the Ski-rental situated in the same place and advertised by Slnecny Dom. I've reserved two pairs of ski-set for the days 25-27 December with pickup date on 24th December. I received a confirmation email from Miloš Várady that it would not be a problem. When we arrived on 24th, we were surprised to find the shop closed. We called Mr. Varady. He briefly and very rudely told us that shop doesn't work and full-stop. On top of that he started to speak to us in Slovak and in a very fast way, even though we repeated that we don't understand Slovak and asked him to speak to us in English, which he didn't. Overall, I’m very disappointed that he confirmed ski pickup on the day he doesn’t work, and he didn’t inform us that shop will be closed. In addition, when it comes to reservation, he was happy to answer my email in English, but when it came to finding solutions from situation he simply switched to Slovak and by the end dropped the phone. After some email communications he apologized (again in Slovak), however, his mistake costed us time in the morning to find alternative ski-rent that would be open and 20 Euros per person that were promised as a discount to people who reserve ski-sets online. So bad expiriance. WENT WITH MY HUSBAND AND LITTLE DAUGHTER TO HAVE A MEAL. The Women didn't look at us.. We were totally ignored.I approached to her to ask aboutwhere to sit but again I was ignored. We staid here in August for a week and really loved the place. Central location but quiet, the room was very clean and well furnished and equipped, all our remarks were taken into consideration. Food was also really great, we dined in the restaurant almost every day and appreciated the discount they have for their guests.||The only problem was the WIFI - the reception was bad if it was at all. The explanation we got was that because it's open, everybody wants to connect to it.
