Jo Leo House — Hotel in Camps Bay

Most poor experience I have ever had. It was my husband’s birthday 2 August. We decided Cape Town Camps bay would be great. We got there all those days the fridge was not working. Our food got messed daily, everyday we spent money on ice to keep our food secure and drinks cold. The day of check out today 05 August. The manager of total stay comes he was rude , disrespectful and said he will keep R1k of my husbands R10k deposit due to a stain on the table. However our entire stay at this place was horrible. My husbands birthday was ruined just like that. This guy called ADT and refused to give the whole deposit. Apparently it’s not the first time total stay managers scam people of their deposit. The first day my husband and friends arrived the same people told my husband he doesn’t look like someone who can keep to conduct therefore he will lose his deposit and said he was certain of this. I was left wondering is every black person visiting this place treated this horrible. We spent over R30k on this place and this was the treatment we received....

I have just enjoyed a wonderful 5 nights at the Villa. It exceeded our expectations! Great outdoor facilities, good kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Ronald the house keeper/manager is exceptional for help/assistance as well as facilitating the cleaning and maintenance of the property! Thank you Ronald!
