Beautiful hotel with breath-taking views from the living/dining room and balcony. Very calm and quiet neighbourhood. Lovely continental breakfast (with eggs cooked to order). Very friendly owner and staff. The owner is dedicated to creating a beautiful home for his guests, and we really did feel at home here! My friend and I were there at the very beginning of the season, so had the place to ourselves. The swimming pool looked beautiful (but water was too cold when we there so we didn't use it). This would be a good place to come to with a group of family/friends as if you book all the rooms you can have it to yourselves and it's a really lovely place for a gathering. Would love to come back.||It was a little tricky to find at first as you can't see the name of the hotel from the road - so look for the address (the no. 3 on the building) rather than the name when you're approaching by taxi as it's in a residential area. Patrizia was an excellent host of this outstanding bed and breakfast. There are just 5 rooms, all very well presented, super clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. ||||There a pool and hot tub, sun loungers, out door sitting area, BBQ and also a space to watch TV inside. There is a well stocked honesty bar so no need to go shopping for a beer or wine, all very well priced.||||We stayed for 6 nights and could stayed longer. We were even taken into the city to collect a hire car by Patrizia friend, saved us a Uber!||||The property in on a hill that over looks the sea, about a 10 min walk to the beach, hence the 4/5 for location. Ocean Lounge proved to be a fantastic place to stay. I stayed for 6 nights initially then after visiting Stellenbosch for a wedding, stayed another 5 nights. I was able to stay in two different rooms, 2 had the beautiful pool view and 5 a very private terrace with its own hammock and table and chairs. The breakfast was a superb continental choice with cooked eggs if desired. Breakfast was served in the upstairs dining room/lounge with fabulous views.
