From the beginning to the end, the staff at Primi Seacastle Hotel made us feel welcomed and special. First, the location is perfect. Directly across from Camps Bay beach where mornings are peaceful and evening sunsets can not be missed. |The rooms are well appointed for the time you will stay in them. The gathering area near the pool offers comfort and the opportunity to meet people or relax in peace. The bar is well-stocked and the service is outstanding and personal.|Breakfast is served from both a buffet and a nicely organized menu with something for everyone. The views and proximity to the beach are outstanding. You are close enough to the nightlife to be just a few minutes walk to great restaurants and bars, but far enough away so as not to be disturbed by nighttime activities. |Enough can not be said in praise of the very competent and friendly staff. Every effort is made by the special people who work at Primi Seacastle to make your stay safe, enjoyable, and fun. They take pride in resolving any issues that travelers have, even when not directly related to the hotel. They communicate well and always make you feel safe and important. |While the entire staff did a magnificent job, our friends, my wife and I are particularly happy to have the pleasure of offering praise to Milton for being a great source of information and an amazing ambassador for Camps Bay, Cape Town, and South Africa, let alone the Primi Seacastle Hotel!!!|When Milton was not present, we were equally cared for by Andrew and Asanda who showed great personality and always had our best interest at the forefront of their work. |This is a wonderful place to experience all that the area has to offer. We highly recommend anyone to visit and enjoy the people and location that Primi Seacastles offers in Camps Bay. Returning here is a must! Thank you for...
Read moreThe Good - ||Lovely decorated rooms, we had a small terrace which had no views, but we were fine with that. (Room1)|Staff were friendly enough.|Great location by the beach.|Muffins at Breakfast were to due for!!! ||The Bad- ||We could hear the staff downstairs talking all night. We were by the back door, so had people walking in the hall coming back from a night out, so noisy. ||We didn’t feel we could trust that nothing would be taken due to a letter in our room stating that anything left in the rooms were at our own risk and not the hotels fault if stolen, seen these letters before in hotels, but this just felt a bit dodgy.||Parking it was a nightmare. They only have 4-5 spaces and even the staff said some cars parked there diodnt belong to the hotel. It was terrible.||To find the place is horrendous! You need to go round the back of the hotel, down a one way street, you will see a small sign called Seacastle. This is where you park, but only on the left hand side. We then made the mistake of trying to get into th wrong building by going upstairs. What you need to do, is go down the end of the parking area, turn left and go past the spa area, there is a door on you right hand side on the far end. You then go downstairs to reception. They really need a sign in the car park, on the room and to state where to go! It was not a great start to our time here in Primi Seacastle and really put a damper on the whole trip due to it taking so long to find anything! ||Breakfast was ok. The best thing was the muffins. Other than that, its nothing special. However, I ma sure it will be nicer if you can sit outside with a...
Read moreDefinitely not 4 stars! We were in the room in the corner on the outside, away from the rest of the hotel, felt like they double booked rooms over December and gave us the room at the last minute even though we booked months in advance. There's no sea view even though the room stated it had sea view. It also shared a door to the owners room which was weird cause you could see through the little gap in the middle of the door. No coffee/tea facilities, there wasn't even a bin in the bathroom! Sheets were always wrinkled, room had owners old furniture and the drawers were filled with tools and other junk. Bunch of skate board stickers on the cupboard, could have been the owner's child's room. Manager was absolutely rude and pretended to sound like a foreigner even though he's from Durban. He was not helpful at all when we complained about the room, the gate to the beach road never worked, we always had to walk around. Once again he was apathetic. He refused to carry guests luggage and there's quite a number of stairs to walk up. There are only 5 parking bays, so if you get parking, you'll be super lucky else you have to park on a side road. The location is great and this place has so much potential just a pity about management. Breakfast is horrible, coffee was never good, food is disgraceful, honey bottle was covered with ants. I would not recommend staying...
