We recently had occasion to travel to Pretoria on business and booked in at the Glen Marion Guesthouse.|We made use of their shuttle service to and from Oliver Tambo Airport.|What a pleasant surprise when we arrived, the guesthouse itself is beautifully appointed, comfortable and immaculately clean. Pillows are like rocks. It's impossible to sleep on. A block out curtain at the long window at the basin side would be fantastic and not to be waken at 05:30. The guest house and rooms are clean, clean linen. Beds are 💯 except the pillows. Because of that, I can not give rooms 5*'s. Location is perfect when you are going to Sunbed Arena for a show. R800 for a single is much more than R1125 for a couple. Learn from Firwood Lodge,a prime spot at Hazelwood. Asking R450 pp does not matter if you are alone. It's noisy, especially if your bedroom looks out on smoking verandah. If I did not get to bed at about 24:00, it would have been a difficult night. Fridge next to your head, going on and off...

GLEN MARION GUEST HOUSE is the best guest house I stayed in. The rooms is so clean the bathroom everything you need is there and lady's also a hairdryer I was very impressed it is so clean and beautiful I will came again. The staff and management is so friendly and helpful. My room for the 3 days was cleaned every morning clean cups clean glasses clean teaspoon there was no need to ask for anything.
