Having a ladies night for my girl's bachelorette and she loves ocean basket!

Times Square Ocean Basket gave us the worst experience we've ever had!

After waiting almost 50mins for food, once the manager came to check in on how we're doing and we let him know that nothing had arrived in the entire time we were there after having a waitress that insisted food would be fast and us letting her know we were starving when we sat down.

After watching the manager take our order slip to the chef's for the order to be FINALLY prepared, the waitress insisted that our order is being plated and another 5mins later we took a walk to the kitchen and the plating wasn't happening as she had said!

Eventually after the manager calmed us down after wanting to cancel all the food, everything was rushed to our table.

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE FOOD AS WELL! As you can see by the pics, the platters were completely dry, the lovely Ocean Basket experience we're usually used to was not met whatsoever.

Free drinks were brought to our table as compensation for the poor service but after losing our appetites having to fight for food, that really didn't help the situation.

Had it not been for the manager assisting, not even sure when our order would've been looked at and prepared, we are...

My love for ocean basket was officially ruined by this bad experience.

Waiter couldn't tell me what certain items on the menu was, ordered one thing and got something else as to where I was told that it actually is what I ordered. How can ocean basket not have tsatsiki in stock and then bring something else to my table and tell me it's tsatsiki as if I won't know the difference

That was just the starters, when mains arrive I get the wrong order but only realise it when the bill comes as I was so busy explaining to the waiter that I ordered it fried and not grilled, that I don't realise it wasn't what I showed him I wanted on the menu.

Wasn't nasty with the waiter, tried to stay well mannerd but lost it when I queried the bill with the wrong meal on and was told that was what I ate. As if I should know the differences between the meals.

Shared my sad experience with the manager and was promised a free meal with my next visit, which I might have considered if it wasn't for the worst diaree my friend had when we got home.

Got there at 3:30, ordered our drinks and food immediately as we sat down. We waited over 30 minutes for a milkshake and a grapetizer, the milkshake was completely melted and warm when it arrived so I asked for a new one, waited another 20 minutes for the 2 oysters we ordered as we entered and our food arrived another 25 minutes later. In total waited over an hour and a half for our food which was not bad, but very dry and we could tell it was sitting under a heat lamp for a while. It was quite busy today but it's no excuse, another 2 couples who sat around us had come in more or less the same time as us because the waitress took their first drink orders the same time she took ours, that couple had gotten there drinks, ordered a meal, ordered a desert and paid their bill ALL before we even got our meal.
