Lucky Bread Company Menlyn Maine — Restaurant in Gauteng

As a big fan of Lucky Bread I was super excited about the new location in Menlyn Maine. And what a gorgeous shop it is. Beautifully designed and perfectly positioned. The architecture however does not distract too much from what we go there for, and that is the damn good coffee and delectable pastries and sweet treats. Choosing a favourite on the menu would be like picking a favourite child. Cheesy toasted sandwiches or perfect bagels or fresh salads or just a quick croissant or a cheat day waffle (I dare anyone to challenge Lucky Bread for the best waffle in town). Great place for breakfast. The whole area is fitted with mist sprayers, so it's quite cool to sit there on a hot day. We received bad service, but at the end, the manager apologized to us and removed the meals that we complained about from the bill without any hassle. She always gave us a round of free drinks to apologize for the bad service we got...
