Knysna Glampackers at 52 on Main — Hotel in George

On arrival there was a lack of parking. Guests were drinking on the porch and were extremely loud. Not a very good welcome.

One of our units had a toilet right next to the bed with no door or even wall. The linen was old and worn. Single ply toilet paper. No soap in the shower. Old towels.

We were told the gate was locked at night for our security, but nothing was locked when we got home at 02h00, anyone can walk right up to your unit so lock the door.

Do yourself a favor and skip this one. You can get way better accommodation for the same price...

There is no sign or board showing the places location so it takes quite a while to find it. It is now called turaco cabins and only when you enter the Glampackers board can be see. Not enough parking space for all guests, the recptionist not always available. Rooms were clean and were mini cabin style so not a lot of space but it is glamorous. Some rooms do not have plugs for charging and others do. Rooms did not have a kitchen or anything related to cooking beside a kettle. Each room has a unique setting and is comfortable for...
