German hospitality at its best! Katrin and Claus have been wonderful hosts in their lovely B&B residence. My room has been super clean and cozy - I especially liked the additional privat outdoor shower. The common area is spacious, well lit and very inviting to relax with a tea and a book from their vast collection of literature. The breakfast buffet has everything from sweet to savory, nuts and fruits, cheese and deli, whatever you can think of! Unfortunately, I have not been using the pool due to current weather conditions at the time. But the outside space is just as lovely as the rest of the property! Location: just a few minutes away from a major shopping center or take an UBER to Capetown Waterfront (approx 10min). Overall: Highly recommend this place for a safe stay...

This is probably the best B&B I’ve have stayed in ANYWHERE. The location is ideal, convenient to many of the sites we had planned to see. The rooms are immaculate, very comfortable beds, equipped with everything we needed, and including an outdoor shower. The common area inside and out are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing and included, many different offerings and eggs prepared to our order. Katrin and Klaus are the most gracious, welcoming, and accommodating hosts, immediately made us feel comfortable and helped orient us to Cape Town. We really enjoyed talking with them. Vom 18.02. bis zum 03.03.2025 haben wir Südafrika in der Kap-Region mit Kapstadt besucht. Nach einem 2-tägigen Aufenthalt in Inverdoorn waren wir vom 20.02. bis zum 03.03.2025 Gäste im "Himmelblau Boutique Bed & Breakfast" in Kapstadt. Kathrin und Claus, die die Unterkunft betreiben, stammen aus der Nähe von Frankfurt und haben sich nach längeren, beruflichen Aufenthalten in Kiew, Dubai und Kapstadt letztlich vor über 10 Jahren dauerhaft in Kapstadt niedergelassen und vermieten 3 komfortable Doppelzimmer an ihre Gäste. Die Unterkunft liegt zwischen Tafelberg und Waterfront in einer Art Siedlung. Es gibt einen schönen Innenhof mit Sitzgruppen, Liegen, Sonnenschirmen und einem schönen, kleinen Pool. Einen sicheren Platz für unseren Mietwagen gab es auch. Das Frühstück war gut und umfangreich... auf Wunsch werden auch Eierspeisen gereicht. Den ganzen Tag über ist man mit Tafelwasser und Keksen versorgt. Eine Kaffeemaschine (Kapseln) steht auch bereit. Zusätzlich kann man sich auch gegen Bezahlung am Kühlschrank bedienen. Da bei Kathrin und Claus eigentlich immer alles belegt ist, sitzt man beim Frühstück am großen Tisch dann zu sechst und Kathrin und Claus setzen sich mit einem Kaffee gerne dazu... geben Tipps für Tagesausflüge, was man machen sollte und was besser nicht, organisieren u.U. auch mal eine Katamaranfahrt (über Freunde vor Ort), geben Tipps zum Essengehen und informieren gerne über Land und Leute. In der gesamten - außergewöhnlich gestalteten - Unterkunft spürt man die viele Liebe zum Detail, mit der alles eingerichtet ist. An den Wänden schaut man auf originale Kunst von Claus.
