MoTown — Hotel in Sea Point

I recently stayed at the property located at 16 St Johns Road, Sea Point, Cape Town, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. My stay was marred by multiple instances of intimidation and harassment, which I first reported on 6 May 2025 at 15:59. Despite my best efforts to bring this to the management's attention, the issue was never properly addressed.||I’ve submitted various forms of evidence, including WhatsApp messages, photographs, voice recordings, and video footage, all of which document the incidents in question. I also requested that management review the property's CCTV recordings to assist in the investigation, but to this date, there has been no resolution, and the harassment continues.||In an attempt to resolve the matter amicably, I requested a refund for the remaining nights of my stay, but this request was unfortunately declined. ||Furthermore, the property has a significant issue with cockroach infestation, with visible insects frequently seen throughout the premises and evidence of egg laying in...

We were there with the family, quite bad experience, it is pricey yes, but otherwise…||- dirty||- police visited several times (junkies were living there)||- grils looking for sugar daddies and their night business were residents as well||- they messed up our booking more than once, so that we actually had to sleep on the couch, because our room was given away… and that more than once. ||- other residents were robbed||- we were not able to complain, since the manager herself was contributing to this bad experience and we were given a wrong email on purpose, so no chance of refund or excuse of the owner.||||Don’t be fooled by the pictures! We could continue the story with broken windows, dirt and dead bugs...
