more like 2.5-star hotel. stingy and lacks many things
odd how this property was able to earn 4-star grading. it looks ok from outside being 17 stories high and all but lacks so many things inside.
sneaky marketing with room types. they advertise deluxe double rooms with balcony are all "sold out" when in fact they are sold as 'regular' superior double; when you check in, you will be told all superior double rooms come with balcony and the truth is rooms are TINY because the balcony dimensions are factored into the room size. i would recommend not booking their 'superior double'. these double rooms are also facing tall building in the front and has NO view. try the back side instead, it's got at least open view.
lacks many things: no coffee in the room. no sofa. no other usual complimentary amenities and so on; mostly for purchase. this, not a deal breaker but not 4-star graded hotel's offerings either.
the most annoying thing is the sensored lighting by the entrance/bathroom. it turns on every time you go to the bathroom. (if you and your partner never go to bathroom in the middle of the night, u should be ok though.) anyhow, asked the maintenance team to temporarily turn it off during my stay but they weren't able.
no a/c turned on in the hallway and inside the elevators stating it's not hot enough yet. well it's end of june and bus turns on a/c and their restaurants turn on a/c.
housekeeping asked if it is ok not to clean the room and just exchange towels. well...
breakfast was not worth paying for much. in particular, the only type of eggs offered was scrambled but even that was mixed in some cream sauce. (no other protein source.) all else very simple like coffee, milk, rice, soup, and toast. cheaper better alternatives just a few...

Despite being close to the airport, the rooms were well-insulated, and I experienced no noise disturbances.Room:My room was clean, modern, and spacious. The bed was comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensured a good night's sleep. The bathroom was well-maintained, with a powerful shower and quality toiletries. I also appreciated the free high-speed Wi-Fi, which was reliable throughout my stay.Service:The staff at Air City Hotel were welcoming and attentive. Check-in was smooth, and the reception team was always available to assist with inquiries or transportation arrangements. They even offered a complimentary airport shuttle, which was a huge bonus.Dining:The on-site restaurant served a variety of delicious dishes, with both local and international options. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with plenty of fresh and flavorful choices to start the day.Facilities:Although I didn't have time to use all the amenities, the hotel offers a gym and lounge areas for guests. The ambiance throughout the property is...
Read moreat the beginning of October, 2018, My friends and i lived in this hotel, we found a strange thing that the lights inside the toilet was automatically switched off after 3-5 minutes, it was very inconvenient and unacceptable especially when we were doing shower, how can we take shower with lights suddenly switched off, then shouted outside to ask my friend to try press the switch again, (although we did this action, the lights still switched off every 5 minutes). when enquiring from the front desk on the second day, he replied us it was due to unstable electricity supply after typhoon, at first we accepted his explanation. however, this awful situation continued for four days which we lived in. yesterday, i saw from facebook other people who lived in last week also complaining this situation, that means it may not due to typhoon affecting the electricity supply, it is the hotel's problem. if the hotel will not fix this problem, i will never recommend any people to choose it, and also may write to public platform to advise traveller not to...
