After being in a run down guesthouse, Eins offered luxury! Lovely rooms, comfy beds, spacious but not enormous, great views either side. Bathroom was nice- separate toilet and shower compartments with a mirrored vanity also. Breakfast was simple but fine (open 7-9am only though) and the 11th floor breakfast bar offers great views (when not rainy or foggy!). Room was heated too.||Price was very reasonable- in fact I paid $10AU more for this lovely hotel than an awful backpackers- worth the extra money! ||Some of the front desk staff speak English- but not all. Getting information was a bit tricky some days. The tall guy with longer hair is excellent though! The others have limited English (it took 5 mins to explain that I needed toilet paper- lots of miming involved!).||Rooms include complimentary water each day and have amenities such as toothbrushes, shampoo, body wash and toothpaste. They offer bath towels and hand towels too.||For two of our three days it poured rain- the hotel had loan umbrellas too, which was fantastic. There is a convenience store two buildings away and about a 2 min walk away are coffee shops and restaurants.||My two criticisms:||1. lighting in room wasn't great- I had the single bed and the corner was very dark and hard to read at night- perhaps add a side lamp.||2. street noise was LOUD at times- it travelled up to the 8th floor.||||Overall it was a really lovely stay- close to Jeonbang and Cheonjiyeon waterfalls bus stop, daily market, Oedolgae.||||Be prepared to pay a lot for taxis- the public transport is not terrific on Jeju and it seems most tourists hire a car and drive places making it easier. ||||There is a coin laundry...

Washroom had a separate bath area and loo area ( had Japanese fixtures which we loved). Wash basin is also outside. ||We wanted to pay more and get a room with a view but the receptionist was quite confusing and gave us some astronomical rates which we found annoying. ||Otherwise staff is helpful and courteous. |Breakfast was just fine with limited western options, didn't try the local fare. View from the breakfast area is beautiful on a sunny bright day. Hotel is easily accessible from the airport using bus no.600 (stop before the last) and some uphill walk is required. Used the local bus for traveling around the island, convenient and cheap. Seogwipo market is close by which has all the eateries. ( Must have Korean chicken ....Yummy). Cute little cafe nearby which we frequented every other night....|We could have stayed at the hotel next door...Which looks modern and better for the same...
Read moreWe stayed here for 3 nights and we were more then satisfied with our stay. The location is great! You have great sushi restaurant to the right, awesome back pig BBQ restaurant to the left and amazing coffee shop once again to the left maybe. 2 mi away. The gentleman who worked the front desk was great , friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned everyday. My only complaint Is that the bed was little firm, by the third night I had it with the mattress but that just how it is in most korean hotels. I rate this place 3=4 stars but because how cheap the hotel was just rate it 5. Breakfast is okay but it's only 6000 won. I wish they change the Manu some so that I didn't have to eat the same stuff every morning. I wouldn't even mind paying more for bigger variety since there's not much open in the morning and coffee shops don't even open until 8 am around here. I have stayed in this area half dozen times last 10 years and I always had a great experience. I would definitely stay here again for the people working at this hotel. They are...
