stumbled into this spot craving sushi and got more than what i came for. I got the “Chef’s Choice” sushi platter and every single nigiri was quite good. Not an overload of the sushi rice, and seasoned well. Generous cuts and a decent variety on the platter. Immediately provide sides upon order and a warm miso that really preps the stomach.
More than the food, the owner is a wonderful host. I caught him when the restaurant was winding down, but he didn’t fail to continue the conversation with me. Got to know all the art in the interior is made by him - do ask him about it.

This is a quaint mom and pop shop and it's just two people running the whole show. It is a place where you can take your time to enjoy your drinks and your sushi and sashimi.
