It was my first time staying in a hostel and I'm glad my friend chose this one. I want to break it down to the things most important to any traveler: the actual facility and location||||The neighborhood looks shady at first, but it actually isn't. It's safe to walk around at night. The main door is accessible to anyone, but you need a code to enter your private room. There is no elevator. We were on third floor and had to carry our luggage. The recycling and garbage is on the 2nd floor and you walk past it, but they do clear it daily it seems. There are separate lockers if needed, but with the private rooms, it's safe to leave your items there. There is a vending machine on the 1st floor. The actual room: we had 4 beds (two bunkbeds) all twin size. The ladders to climb up are not comfortable, thin, so wear socks or walk on them sideways. The beds are a bit hard and given a pillow and comforter. No changing of sheets. There is a closet and a stove top, cabinets, shower over toilet, and washer and dry line to hang clothes. There are three windows which is nice, but mosquitos got in. There is air conditioning and heated floors. There is a small fridge and wi-fi. Feels very college dorm like and there is a full length mirror. They also provide a hair dryer. Bring towels!||||Location- awesome. Walking distance to lots of restaurants, a 24 hour KFC, 24 hour GS25, bakeries, subway line not too far, mall, and shopping. There is a Jimjilbang nearby too. Taxis...
Read moreI know this review is a bit long overdue. However, I have promised that I would write a review about Travelers Planet. So, here it is.||The experience of doing the reservation was already have a significant impact on what I was about to experience. I was really impressed their fast respond time in replying all my e-mails.||I have stayed at Studio 41st a year ago (their sister hostel). Thus, I tried to book the rooms from them, and to my disappointment, the hostel was fully booked at that time. So they suggested Travelers Planet instead. ||I can say, all Lee & No Hostels are almost equivalent to each other, in terms of facilities and service. It would not matter if you stay in any of the hostels, you would receive the best from them. The rooms are really nice (I did not expect to get that kind of room with the price we paid) and the location is within walking distance to Hondae Univ Station.||I would definitely come back as Seoul is my second home, and of course Travelers Planet would be my number one choice to stay.Great Job guys! To all the managers, Ariel, Aiden, Jay and Mun - hope to see you...
Read moreFive years ago we stayed at Lee and No and were disappointed this time they were renovating. we need not have worried as they have this sister property - even better for a family. We had a virtual appartment - kitchen, washing machine, separate bedroom, lovely new bathroom, free wi-fi etc. But what really makes this place is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble, there is always someone there to help you out. Breakfast up on the roof garden a great start to each day before setting off to explore on the nearby underground, or the hip and happening area of Hongdae. Mr Lee himself joined us for a last breakfast and tells us Lee and No will be up and open this October with even better family rooms (which i cant imagine! ) Our kids come from Korea and there is nowhere else we would stay in Seoul. Our experience to their birth country is enhance by staying at this Home away from home. We miss you...
