💲 Expensive and strategic but low quality!
🌡️ Using centralized AC, where the temperature is controlled by Hotel Management, hotel tenants cannot raise or lower the temperature. The use of centralized air conditioning is actually not a problem, the good thing is that Hotel Management can decide when to use heating or air conditioning according to the current season, but the bad thing is when each room cannot raise or lower the temperature either when using a heater or air conditioner, because each person has a different tolerance for room temperature.
🔊 Sounds outside the room can be heard clearly from inside the room, while if someone makes a sound or speaks quite loudly from inside the room, the sound can be heard outside or in the next room. It doesn't seem to have any soundproofing or maybe the soundproofing is just so-so.
🚿 The bathroom is too narrow. There is a bathtub and shower, but there is no shower room, so there is no choice but to use the bathtub. If you just want to use the shower, then there is no choice but to stand in the bathtub, which is very weird.
🛀🏻 Even the size of the bathtub is not long enough for a human body to actually get in and lie down to soak. There is a step but its position is not right under the neck when someone is soaking, so it feels uncomfortable on the back.
🚿 Insufficient toiletries. Only 2 bath towels, 2 washcloths, hair dryer, hand washing bar soap, soap gel and shampoo gel are available. 2 bath robes are available and hanging in the wardrobe. No toothpaste and toothbrush, no bathroom tumbler glass, no place to hang wet towels (only a small towel hook next to the wash basin), and no shower cap. Because the floor is carpeted, no bathroom mat is provided.
👣 There is a step between the room and the bathroom which is quite high, so watch your step, especially the elderly.
🩴 2 pairs of sandals available.
🛏️ The mattress is not soft and does not feel like it follows the curves of the body when we lie on it. My body feels sore after waking up. The entire floor of the room is carpeted, which I don't know whether it is clean or not, dusty or not, unlike without carpet, you can clearly see whether the floor is dirty or not. Although it is actually good when the floor is carpeted, because your feet will not feel cold, especially during winter. The wallpaper is peeling at the corner of the window.
🔌 There are no extra sockets next to the bed. So if you want to charge near the bed, you have to unplug the refrigerator.
🌡️ The refrigerator is very small and not cold.
🪑 There is a folding chair that is stored in the wardrobe.
🛜 No Wi-Fi connection on the 1st floor.
📺 There are very few programs that can be watched on TV that tourists can understand, Korean dramas on TV do not have English subtitles.
🔐 Free lockers and luggage scales are available in front of the reception on the 3rd floor.
🪑 There is no seating on the 1st and 3rd floors to just sit and relax.
⁉️ The hotel staff can only say hello and thank you in English, so it is difficult to communicate or even ask for more details. In fact, every hotel that is frequently visited by tourists should have every hotel staff be able to speak English. However, the hotel cleaning staff were polite.
🍽️ You will be given a coupon for a meal which must be shown to the hotel staff on duty in front of the dining room or restaurant on the 3rd floor. The dining menu is a buffet, quite complete, you are free to eat anything that is served there and you are also free to add more. It seems that fried rice is a must-have menu there, it tastes bland, if you have ever tasted fried rice that is rich in flavor, then the fried rice here tastes bland. There are 2 waiters who are always ready to take any cutlery that we no longer use even though we haven't left the dining table.

Read moreMigliore Hotel is very convenient, because when you go out of the hotel, you're near the subway station, as well as some bus stops.
HOWEVER, I would say that it is NOT a good place to stay during spring time in Seoul, Korea.
The main reason is because they do not have air conditioner (they would say "It is broken, and there's no definite date as to when it will be repaired). The hotel did not inform us (and I believe even the other guests) about the "broken aircon" ahead of time. We only found out when we checked in. One of us has a breathing problem, that he needs air. We were offered electric fan, but imagine staying for 6 nights with only air from the outside and an electric fan. There's no more luxury in our staycation.
I rate the facilities low, because although our room has instant coffee and sugar, there was no teaspoon and creamer provided. Aside from that, there was only 2 POWER OUTLETS... 2 power outlets are NOT enough for a "Family Room". Luckily, we were able to bring an extension cord, but this might be a concern for other guests...
Elevators are very limited. Both sides have 2 elevators (a total of 4), but all elevators really TAKE TOOOOOOO LONG!!
The Front Desk was highly unprofessional. LITERALLY UNPROFESSIONAL + RUDE.
His name has something to do with "M" who is a Team 짱 (team leader). He is a thin/skinny man with glasses and short black hair. When my family and I filed a complaint/concern, all he did was LAUGH AND/OR SMILE, which was highly unacceptable and very unprofessional. Rather than "Okay ma'am, we'll ask our technician to check for you.", it's literally a laugh from the Front Desk, when the issue is serious. My family and I also found out his name is Jung Woo Seok (정우석), and we believe Woo Seok and "M" are the same person. He even harassed us by calling our room's phone to tell us to come down to the lobby (probably to speak with us to move out). And he did even asked us to MOVE OUT if we're unhappy with the aircon issue. WE PAID FOR IT, AND HE HAS NO RIGHT TO KICK US OUT LIKE THAT UNLESS THE HOTEL PROVIDED US A REFUND (which I highly doubt it's possible).
I have experienced working in the hospitality industry, and this kind of experience is very absurd. In the hospitality industry, it is important to accommodate the guests in a professional manner (and come up with a nice solution) and treat guests WITH RESPECT.
I would also like to commend the housekeeper, Gina. She was professional and was able to accommodate to our needs.

If you want to improve your hotel and avoid negative reviews, do something and listen to your...
