Ordered Ginseng Chicken, Bibimbap and Seafood pancake.
Only seafood pancake was decent(needs the dipping sauce though).
-Bibimbaps gotta be the most pathetic one I've ever had in Korea. We ordered the red pepper paste version and it came with a separate container. It tastes like those ready made sauce from convenience stores(in a bad way).
Ginseng Chicken has no richness, it's basically homemade boiled chicken with vegetables stock. You can barely sift through all that to taste the ginseng. Chicken is also not tender or soft. Probably didn't boil it for a long time.
Have no words how this place manages to get 4.8 stars. Maybe their raw crabs are that good. Will never know. 😊
Adding more to reply to the owner. Do you even taste your own food? No offense. Your price is way higher than the average, you have close to no locals visiting you.
I forgot to mention your side dishes, especially your kimchi is dogwater. Can you please use the time for replying Google reviews, hard selling 5 star with free instant noodles and use it to taste what the surrounding restaurants are doing. I am speechless you stand by your food....
Read moreTravelling with a large group is not easy to find meal spots where everyone is happy, but this did it for us. Our group had kids, teenagers, adults and seniors. The big hits were the bibimbab with meat or veggies. The kimchi pancake, it has so little batter it falls apart bc it’s filled with so much kimchi and seafood. 😋 Sooo much better than the thick flavourless stuff other ppl are selling. The pork aspic (the marinaded raw squid garnish is chef’s 💋) and the beef shank hotpot. It was so yummy, we added noodles and extra mushrooms. It comes non spicy but the owner offered hot chili paste and spicy chilis. Sooo good. If I could award the service 6 ⭐️ I would. It’s obviously a new spot and the owner was soooo nice making sure we were comfortable. At the end of the meal he brought us these delicious frozen pineapple desserts. I would definitely come back, the food is legit really delicious and my background is...
Read moreA restaurant I recently visited. Its review score was high, so I thought it might be a good place and decided to check it out separately after hearing about it from a friend. However, I was puzzled because the food quality was poor, and the restaurant felt disorganized. After looking into it, I found out they were running a review event—if you left a review and showed it to the owner, they gave you free ramen. The taste and quality of the food were just average, like any typical neighborhood spot. It’s hard to believe this is a 4.8-star restaurant. To tourists: this is not the taste of a 4.8-star local restaurant. I hope you don’t mistake this experience as representative of Korean...
