Not surprising why this store has a 3.9 -- that's quite generous. We came in wanting to customize a shirt, and a nice gentleman greeted us at the custom counter upstairs. He said we could buy the shoes in the custom display counter or other shoes and equip with the custom satin shoelaces and emblems with any shoe. And that another style on display was customizable with a specific model only.
Back downstairs, we picked out 2 pairs of shoes. Waited 10 minutes while 2 sales people ignored us, walked around or helped other customers get shoes. We flagged down another person who radio'd to one of the guys ignoring us 5 feet away and asked for our sizes. The custom style that was displayed upstairs was out of stock, so I asked for another size and was told it was also out of stock. However, the floor model was that other size exactly. She didn't radio to the guy but just told me no the other 2 sizes I suggested were also out. We got 1 of the different shoes, paid for them and brought them back upstairs.
Then another woman told us that the shoes were customizable only with the shoes they had on display...per her manager... yet i tried to buy multiple sizes and they were out of stock? So why display them? And... that we could not return the other shoes we just bought because that was against store policy.
At that point I said, oh yes, yes you will return them and to get the manager. At which point we went back downstairs. She processed the return and threw 120 euros at us.
Not my first visit here and came back because I love Barcelona, the people and the culture. But this store was an atrocious experience. Rude employees and management, contradicting policies, lying. Yep, not worth the visit.
As a side note, the Addidas store was fabulous, had a great, helpful staff, and the BCN customizable service and designs were much better. Go...
Read moreI visited this Nike store in January 11, 2023 in Barcelona at Pg.de Gràcia 17 (08007) to return new shoes. The manager told us that the company does not return the money, but can only issue a voucher. The manager spoke to us in a very dismissive and derisive manner. I turned on the video recording to record the fact of the refusal to return the money for the goods. At this time, the manager quietly, without saying a word to us, approached the guard, and after that the guard attacked me. The guard came up to me, painfully grabbed my arm and dragged me out of the store. I asked him to stop and stop touching me, but he didn't stop. After that, I started shooting from the street. He walked out of the store into the street and attacked me again. He threatened me and said that he would break my phone, tried to knock it out of his hands. The guard also pushed my husband, who was just trying to shield me from him. The guard tried to attack my husband with his fists. We asked the witnesses of the situation to call the police and wrote a report on the call. This is the worst shopping...
Read moreRidiculously uneducated shopping attendants with regard to Nike shoes and sports, shocking really for a sports shop. I came in and asked for „dedicated tennis shoes” and Alexa pointed me towards „running shoes” (incorrect, completely different stability design, different function). I told Alexa once again that tennis shoes are very different and if she could check whether somewhere they had the model I was looking for called Court Lite. She checked and said „no”. I walked back to the rack and I myself saw a shoe that looked familiar to the Court Lite, but it was unmarked/unnamed and asked if that was it. She checked online and said again, no. I asked her okay so what is this model called, and then a colleague of hers stepped in and identified them as the ones I was looking for, Court Lite. The three shopping attendants I talked to, Alexa and two men, were completely unaware of the Nike shoes and sports and were misinforming me while holding the...
