We stayed in this aparthotel the night before flying out of Barcelona. The apartment was pretty and clean. It was the most stressful part of our Spain trip, however. There is no one "on site" to help if you have trouble checking in or any issues while there. Everything had to be done online and required an electronic key through an app. I misunderstood the email and thought that I could not fill out any of the forms online earlier than 24 hours ahead. Because we were so busy touring and with activities, I forgot to fill out the forms until we arrived. We had to stand outside on the sidewalk with our luggage (family of 5!), and fill out all paperwork including downloading our passports before we were given access to the app to get into the building. Each time we tried to use the electronic key, it would pull up your apple wallet and try using your credit card as the key. This made getting in and out of the apartment very difficult, requiring multiple attempts to get into the building and into your room. When we arrived, there was no a/c on but we turned it on and assumed we could go to dinner and explore and would come back to a/c. When we returned, the a/c was not working. We called. We were on the phone trying to troubleshoot the issue for about 30-45 mins before she offered to contact maintenance. She called back stating maintenance would be an hour before they could get to us. By this time, it was almost 1 am and we had an early morning flight to catch. We expressed our frustration and told them we would be requesting a partial refund the next day. I've tried emailing them since returning back to the U.S. and have yet to get a response back from them. This has been over 2 weeks and I've received no email or callback. Would not stay here again! During our entire trip to Spain, it was the least friendly and most inconvenient of all 4 aparthotels...
Read moreOne of the most dissapointing apartment hotels I have experienced. Upon arrival we were made to wait 20 minutes outside for someone to arrive with the key to let us in. This is despite the fact that we had communicated what time we would be arriving.
The apartment itself was dirty with visible stains and holes in the sleeper couch and sticky residue on the counters.
The sleeper couch is incredibly uncomfortable and creeks and rattles whenever you move as though it is it broken.
The walls are really thin and you can hear people speaking and furniture moving in other units.
The geyser is really small and only one person could get a hot shower with all other guests showering in lukewarm water.
The dishwasher was broken when we arrived and it was only fixed the day before we left despite alerting maintainence the day we arrived.
When we asked for more toilet paper we were told that it was provided as a "courtesy" upon arrival. I have never experienced a hotel that does not provide toilet paper.
Despite the apartment's good location we had an overall really poor experience and would not recommend...
Read moreI loved the part of town ! Very close to the old charm Barcelona … away from the hustle bustle ! Small pop up bars and of course very close to sagradia ! Mikko was kind and helpful and helped up with the check in ! He was always responsive too ! The apartment is a steal if you ask me. The beds are comfortable. We didn’t use to sofa come bed since we didn’t need too. The rooms have good light and the apartment is in itself huge. They refunded my security within three days of us checking out so there was no issue with that. The lift is big so with us and our two babies and strollers it was a blessing ! The kitchen is well equipped. They did have some items like a spatula missing but on informing Mikko it was immediately taken care of so no complaints at all ! Lovely place. Nicely located.
