On the fringe of the Old Centre and very walkable, the apartments are spacious and in very good condition. This kitchen was the best set up on my multi stop Spain tour. It featured a stick blender, scissors but no kettle! Maria at front desk was lovely. Very close to tourist bus stops, Carrefour Express around the corner…and an air conditioner you could control precisely. Front desk is not always manned. By the time you realise there is no tea and the coffee maker does not accept a standard hotel coffee pod or you need cleaning supplies or you can’t find the iron( also at reception), there is no one at the desk and you don’t feel like calling 24 hour reception line for a coffee pod! It would be best that when they provide check in information you have the option then to say yes please 6 coffee pods at .50 each, the iron, a dishcloth and detergent please. The sign on the table provides all the information about booking gym and sauna etc but this would be more helpful prior to check in.. Then they can organise the payment and you have all you need. It would be helpful if the non standard size pod machine is made clear at check in! My only other issue was a hairdryer I could not get it to blow hot air.|Despite this GCA is terrific and great value and these inconveniences would be sorted for a longer stay but for the 2 nights I stayed(3 booked) it was a little inconvenient.|My room 1 F beautifully designed studio but more like 1 bed apartment. I could hear some elevator noise as the shaft abuts this apartment number and I could also hear running children above and a dog barking. You can also hear people opening front door talking in corridors as they came in and out. Once every one settled for the night the sleep quality was good.|I would definitely stay here again.|Lucky on final day reception was manned and Maria was able to call me taxi....
Read moreThis was our first stay in an aparthotel but will certainly not be our last. The apartments are perfectly located to explore the labyrinthine little streets of lovely Cadiz, with all its cafes, bars and shops. The apartment was surprisingly quiet and we slept really well there. There are electric window shutters which provide complete blackout at night which helped. and the road itslef is very quiet. We arrived at about 12.30 after catching the bus from Conil de la Frontera where we had spent the previous week, not expecting our studio to be ready, as the advertised check-in time was 16.00. However, we were able to access our studio and unpack straight away which was great. The apartment, on the ground floor, was spotless and looked new. There was a living area and well-equipped kitchen / dining area, which we didn't use as we ate out all of the time but would definitely have utliised had we been staying longer. There is a laundry / drying area in the basement if needed. The icing on the cake at this property is the rooftop solarium and swimming pool, which is a good size considering its location and which was never overly busy during our stay. The front of house staff were charming and helpful and were able to book us a very early taxi for our last morning as we had to catch the early train to Seville for our flight home. The front desk is staffed 0900 - 2100 currently which is more than adequate. We would definitely stay here again and are already planning a return trip to Cadiz. Highly...
Read moreWe were on holiday with our 12 yr old granddaughter. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a lovely young Spanish lady who seamlessly checked us in and provided us with a map of the area. The reception area was spotlessly clean, very spacious and light and the decor fabulous. Our apartment was spacious, very clean and with a marvellous well equipped kitchen. To her delight, our granddaughter had her own bedroom, with a comfortable double bed. Our room had a large king bed, very comfortable and with TV, wardrobes and a safe. If you stay for 7 days or more, there is one complimentary apartment cleaning included. If you wanted your apartment cleaned when staying for less than that, there is a charge. However, clean towels are provided free of charge upon request. |There was a rooftop swimming pool, with both sunbeds, deckchairs and shaded sofa area. It isn't very big, but it was never very busy and it was equipped with a chair lift for people with mobility issues. Although there isn't a bar or restaurant at the Apartments, just up the road was a wonderful little bar in a gorgeous garden, overlooking the ocean. The Apartments are very well situated in the old town, with many restaurants, bars and supermarkets around. I would thoroughly...
