Communication with the hotel was really easy, allowing us to check in before we got there. There was a reception so we were given the keys by a lovely receptionist who was extremely helpful. The room was like a studio apartment. Full kitchen inc washing machine/dryer that had detergent to use. The bed was extremely comfy and it was nice to have a seating area. There was BBC world news as the only English TV but sometimes you just want some background noise when you come home in the evening. There was also a kettle, which as a none coffee drinker I appreciate. Right in the heart of the old town it had a lovely feel and everything there is to see in Cadiz was only a few mins walk away. yet it was quiet. The hotel has lots details of things to do and restaurants to visit , which was really helpful (one restaurant was La Candela and the best food we had in 2 weeks in Spain) Cadiz can be very busy with day tripper tourist from Seville in the mornings, so it was lovely to spend a few days in this hotel and just lie in and then go out for lunch and by 2pm virtually have the town to yourself and go to visit the cathedral later in the afternoon and have a drink in the square outside in the afternoon sun. I would definitely stay here again, I loved the style of the hotel, staff and relaxed...

As much as the street below was crowded, you do not hear anything once you close the balcony doors! A big plus is that it is right in the midst of restaurants and next to a grocery store. We were able to take a break from restaurant food by utilizing the full kitchen during our stay. It even had a washing machine, which we definitely used! It is just a few steps away from a main plaza where you can sit and people watch while eating gelato or get picked up or dropped off by a taxi to or from the train/bus station (it was less than 10 minutes away and cost less than $8). We were also just able to walk to the closest beach (La Caleta) or take the #1 bus to the other beaches. I highly, highly...
Read moreGreat place for exploring Cadiz! Located in the city centre on pedestrian zone, 100 meters from the underground parking.
Newly and nicely refurbished old house offers very pleasant inside clima even though outside is very hot. High ceilings in the apartments are very unusual and reminds accomodation at the chateau.
I did not find it mentioned in the room equipment, but there is also washing machine with washing powder and iron. Quite handy, when you...
