Tandem El Patio — Hotel in Córdoba

Nice rooms with a functional kitchen. The main advantage of these apartments is the location as literally everything you need is a short walk away.

Rooms. Two large bedrooms with wardrobes, one room had an ensuite and both had wall hung TVs. The main living space has a nifty bed settee and a small but functional kitchen with induction hob, fridge and microwave.

Issues. The WiFi is poor, however the reception team did try to fix it for us. TVs are wall mounted with very tight space behind them. If you are thinking of taking a fire stick or android device, forget it as you can't plug them into the mains. The WiFi, when working was unstable and downloading just above 1mb sec. Not really good enough for work, or for kids and their devices.

Drain smell. I'd read about this prior to arrival. Not much that can be done about it really and you get used to it after a few minutes.

Summary,

Some drain smells and poor WiFi are relatively smallish issues when considering the size of the apartment, the cleanliness, location and the nice staff. We would stay again, the city is amazing and we felt very safe in this...

the smell is aweful ( we figured out it is from the shower sewage) one more hanger for towl is needed no water cooker very loud at night not possible to sleep with open window/ door ( and you need fresh air with that smell) thin walls you hear your neighbors. especially flushing ! a lack of power outlets ( just 2 in bed room our room was not sealed like the other's the rooms could use a picture on the wall. it was a bit cold The dumbest "smart" TV ever, can't use Netflix or any other movie portal and because how it is mounted no smart device like firetv no bathroom cosmetics

I am currently staying at Tandem El Patio and the experience I have had is bad. The worst aspect of the experience is that there have been cockroaches in our bedroom and bathroom. We have seen 4 in the last 8 hours. Also, I did not receive a reminder email that the check-in for this hotel is actually at a nearby hotel, Eurostar Patios De Córdoba. My husband and I went to the entry door of Tandem El Patio and was confused about how to get inside. We rang what we thought was a doorbell, no answer. I checked my emails and the only email I had from Tandem was from when I booked the hotel, which was three months ago, and it had the check in information. The apartment itself is clean. However, the dishes in the cabinets are still wet. Just an fyi, the laundry is on the top floor of the building and is shared by everyone. Update: I received a partial refund for the night's stay.
