Bagus — Restaurant in La Oliva

We came here as we were having trouble checking in to our apartment: we decided to have some lunch then return to check in. We ordered drinks and food but the food never came. The waiter spent a lot of time talking to other customers/friends at another table and mostly ignored us. After an hour or so we became sick of waiting for food/more drinks and eventually asked for the bill without the food we had ordered as it hadn't arrived. At this point the waiter was apologetic and said he would get our food ASAP, that our ticket must have been lost. When it arrived the food was very good, but was really let down by the service. As a result we have not returned this holiday. The bill was a bit less than expected so I think they didn't charge us for our second round of drinks as an apology, however we had to go and pay at the bar because nobody came back to our table to offer more drinks/ask if food was ok/ for us to ask...

Stumbled across this place unexpectedly.

First time we came we just had cocktails which were exceptional and we had a really enjoyable afternoon sitting in the sun. (There are a mix of tables in sunlight and shade.)

We visited three more times on a week’s holiday and had burgers twice which we would thoroughly recommend. Fresh, tasty, really delicious. On one occasion the gentleman that runs the bar forgot to put our food order through, but when he realised that he came over, apologised and said have a free round of drinks. You simply don’t get such good and generous service like that in the UK.

This place is a simply "must visit". It's located near beach and has great views, especially with the sunset. The music is modern and very pleasing to the ear, it really makes a difference to what is usually played at bars. The waitress was very nice too. The food was great, I had a burger which was a bit different to what I usually eat when I order a burger but this one was a pleasant surprise. It also came with those big chunky fries that were not listed in menu. Again, nice surprise. I almost didn't finish, it was a plate for a really hungry person and for only 8,50 at that. All in all, best place on Fuerta so far. It will really be difficult to find some equally great place....
